Fresh Roasted Coffee, Unroasted Costa Rican Tarrazu Coffee Beans, 80 oz

The total shipment was a bit of a miss. One of the bags of Ethiopian Yirgacheffee was cut underneath the fold, creating a pouring spout. Coffee beans spilled into the shipping box. I contacted Fresh Roasted Coffee and was sent a new bag. Fresh Roasted is a great company with great products.

I have long been drawn to Costa Rican coffees and the Tarrazu is a perfect example of Costa Rican coffee. It has a very smooth flavor, with fruity notes. The smell is intoxicating when roasted and the flavor when brewed is even better. My family loves that I have cultivated this new hobby and they love the Costa Rican blend as well. I prefer a medium roast and the color is a chocolatey brown; it roasts consistently to the same flavor, so the quality is always the same — very high. I look forward to years of brewing this coffee.

Newbie at roasting my own coffee from green beans. A friend let me try this coffee and I enjoyed it. So far I am very satisfied with this and will definitely be buying more.

I prefer medium roasts with more fruity, and acidic roasts with fewer chocolate and earthy flavors. The Costa Rican Tarrazu is the best example of this I have tried.

My wife demands her fresh-roasted coffee every morning (or watch out!). Her favorite is Costa Rica Tarrazu. We roast it in a Behmor 1600 at P1A to Full City. It is light, with a touch of sweetness and chocolate.

I prefer dark roast after second crack. This is an enjoyable bean with consist flavors under heavy roasting.

THe flavor is light and nutty, but still rich in flavor. These beans are easy to roast with our Behmor roaster. One lb on P2.

Roasted until the oils start to show during the second 'crack' and starting to smoke. Ground a bit finer than medium. A delightfully rich nutty and chocolate flavor. My adult kids are saying now 'don't forget to bring the coffee'. Ha!
