Fresh Sage, 0.5 oz Clamshell

Here's another one of those products my wife chose. She is the one who said 5 stars. me , i don't really eat the stuff. She does the cooking so she gets to reviews these types of products. ive yet to see her give anything but 5 stars on tne products she puts on my orders.

Fall is here and so is the need for Sage leaves for those fall dinners! I've gotten two packages and find out the leaves are fresh and flavorful. Sage leaves para well with butternut squash as well as other squashes that we find this time of year. With Thanksgiving coming, Sage will definitely be used in preparation. These leaves fit the bill.

I always buy their fresh clamshell herbs. Havent had even one issue with them ever. When I get them I cut them all up, add a dozen more herbs/seasonings/onions/garlic/vegetables etc a big freezer bag. Then I process it all with olive oil into a puree, thenpour into freezer cubes. When frozen, pop them out, put in freezer bags ! When I cook, I take a large cube or two, into the pan/dutch etc Im using and thats it !!! No chopping two dozen items anymore. Cuts my prep time a minute. LOL..believe me it works perfectly !

I don't say this lightly, but fresh sage has no business being this powerful. One leaf and suddenly your kitchen smells like an Italian grandmother, a cozy fall candle, and a medieval healing ritual all at once. Dry sage? A rumor. Fresh sage? A lifestyle. It shows up buttery, earthy, slightly peppery, and fully convinced it's the main character. You add it to brown butter and BOOM—your meal has a personality, a backstory, and possibly a podcast. Toss it in with squash, chicken, pasta, potatoes—honestly, just wave it near food and it improves morale. And the aroma? INCREDIBLE. One chop and your house smells like you have your life together. People will assume you own linen napkins. You don't. But sage says you do. Bonus points: it's dramatic enough to crisp into little green flavor chips, classy enough for Thanksgiving, and witchy enough to feel like you're manifesting abundance while sautéing. Culinary multitasker. Icon. Legend. 10/10. Would invite fresh sage to every meal, holiday, and emotional support situation.

Sometimes you only need a small bunch of fresh herbs. So these herb packets are the perfect size, always fresh and the perfect amount. They do stay fresh in the clamshell packets for a long time. I have seen them in the organic variety as well, but not every time, but overall highly recommend.

I have gotten herbs from walmart several times, but this was a new brand to me. The sprigs were about half the size of old brand and I didn't realize that when I ordered online. The quality was very good. otherwise. This was 1 of 3 herbs I ordered that day and they were all very short.

It's was a nice size portion with big leaves. I ordered it for a curbside pick up and when I got it home and unpackaged my order, the package of sage was wide open. The sage was wilted and had started to dry out. Otherswise, it would have been a good purchase and a decent value.

This is a product that you should go into the store to purchase. It's been more than once that I've purchased this for delivery and there was mold on the leaves or they looked like they were hit with frost. It wasn't fresh smelling it smelt like it sat for a while ,so I would recommend going in and picking this product out instead of having it delivered.

This isn't sage. Not sure what it is or where it came from, but it has almost zero aroma and almost zero flavor and taste. I dry sage for tea and bought several of these. Never again. I'll go to my expensive organic store and buy real sage. So disappointed, because everything I normally buy is really terrific. Find another supplier for your sage.

i have ordered this in the past several time but when i came to a new location for vacation the quality of food has been terrible. i have never has food being delivered as bad as what it is. i will never do another delivery if i come to this place for vacation again.
