These are Heritage Serrano peppers ! With the advent of GMO, most store-bought Serranos have gone the way of jalapeños, not being hot at all. These peppers are exactly what some Serranos should be.

Nice spiciness; good freshness. Very pleased with these Serranos overall. My only issue is with the produce designating quarter pound increments when this is actually sold bagged. Made it confusing and I ended up with more than I can use. Nice to leave a good review for a produce selection from Walmart.

These were some hot peppers when I grill them. They were delicious with my chicken enchiladas salsa Verde. I only needed to use two for a family of four recipe, and I use them grilled over open flame.

I wanted jalapeños, but Walmart always seems to be out. They subbed with the package of Serrano peppers. I tried to cancel them, but was not able to. So, I will use them, but reluctantly.

This is just how I have to order them for delivery and while there's nothing wrong with the Serrano chile itself, they're pricey. Like outrageously marked up. Give me the flavor and spice without the inflated price tag.

1: Total peppers in package was 5. Total weight was almost 2 ounces; advertised as and on package indicated 4 ounces. 2. All 5 peppers were showing rot, with one just plain nasty. 3. Order included cucumbers that were soft and mushy. Gross. Walmart needs to do a better job to provide better produce to their customers.

I buy these from El Centro, CA Walmart. I'm not sure if it's only in this area but the Serrano peppers are almost never spicy. It's almost as if they're growing them to not be spicy. It frustrates me that I have to get lucky and or buy multiple bags to get spicy Serrano pepper. That being said I will avoid buying Serrano peppers from this Walmart, maybe the provider just doesn't grow spicy Serrano peppers anymore.

I ordered the wrong ones because the packaging was clear on the Walmart app and the peppers I got in the package they came in had more information on them so I ordered the wrong ones.

NEVER RECEIVED IT TO SAY IF I LIKE IT OR NOT AND THE REST OF MY VEGETABLES ORDERED WERE ALL WELTED AND MOLDED! THIS IS OFFICIALLY THE LAST TIME IM ORDERING ANY PRODUCE OR FOOD FOR DELIVERY! Terrible
