I usually purchase whole bella mushrooms and slice as needed which makes them last a little longer. However, the whole shrooms were not available this time and my picker substituted these. These were nice and fresh looking and saved a bit of time when I was making up my lasagna as these were already sliced. I prefer the bella mushrooms for the additional flavor.
well for the most part these come a perfect amazing and awesome but on occasion beware sometimes they're rotten the moment you get them. so I suggest anybody who's experienced the same conditions would write to Walmart and let them know that they need to do better on looking at the items before putting them in their bag when they're shopping for us. because a lot of times it's somebody who just doesn't take pride in their job. or they don't care about you the purchaser. if they had any work ethic or self respect, they would look at each item as if they are purchasing this for their mother, father, sister, brother or children... I think they would pay a lot more attention, instead of just grabbing things and throwing it in the bag.
I generally buy these whole And I can wipe them down and get like the potting medium off of the mushrooms these were sliced, and as I tossed them into my beef tarragon dish, I realized they just chopped the whole planting medium in with it as I pulled a big old chunk of soil off the top of one. They need to learn how to clean these before they chop them.. I should've. I should've thought to rinse them. I just assumed you know, but makes sense. They probably just put them through a machine and no one ever even looked that the potting medium. The potting soil was basically in there with it very disappointing.
I do order online and then pick up and these mushrooms were on their last leg. It drives me crazy that the shopper doesn’t take into consideration the quality of the produce they are choosing. Would the shopper want someone to choose produce in bad condition for them??? No, no one wants that! I do the order on line out of convenience and it becomes very much an inconvenience to have to come to the store to return or replace poor quality produce. The shopper should be trained to do better.
The choice of mushrooms from those available wasn't done well. These were old, slimy and smelled of rot. They were bad when they arrived. They were to the point they were dangerous to use. When there aren't any safe viable options a substitution should be made. Mobile stock staff should be taught how to choose produce. How to tell when things are bad and not sellable.
The mushrooms were old and almost rotten. I didn’t notice until 2 days later when I wanted to use them that they were not edible. Had to throw them away. Waste of money. Please have people check the expiration dates and quality of produce before choosing it for a pick up customer.
First attempt in years at trying Walmart grocery delivery, and it was worse than i remember. We received stuff we did not order - sorry to whoever ordered jumbo packs of Tyson wings and legs, we got them. The mushrooms are slimy and gross, I would be afraid to cook with or serve them to anyone.
the mushrooms I received were more than half brown and not useable. this is one serious downfall to placing an on line order for vegetables, fruits or meats. you can never count on the quality or the freshness. I am very disappointed with these mushrooms as I was not able to use them in a recipe I needed them for on the day of delivery.
Shopper picked out old brown smelly mushrooms. Not at all as depicted in the photo presented on the shopping app. Who does this? Selects the oldest scummiest produce possible that they get tipped to deliver? Now that I’m aware my shopper IS the delivery driver? The 20% tip is being reversed.
They were slimy and sticky when I opened them. The picture is when I dumped them in the sink for disposal. They normally credit me for rotten produce but this time they said I would need to take them for credit. I have a return number return barcode but I always do curbside pickup and was wondering if curbside can scan my barcode.
