i like the new packaging, it sure does keep them from being crushed in delivery orders even when they are with two bags of onions and bag of lemons... two bags of onions and bag of lemons is TOO much even with double bagging, i can only lift 5%23 each arm so I had to unpack and take them in one at a time making it three trips...I'm in a wheelchair and i don't appreciate more work than is necessary, I have no help I have to do things by myself
This 3 pack of tomatoes are what I buy when I want good tomatoes. I don't recommend buying them for pickup or delivery, though. They don't take time to pick up ripe ones and they're almost always like rocks. But, when you can go into the store to pick out your own, these are the best you can buy. I buy them every week, thinking of different ways to have them. it doesn't work because I read a lot and find myself eating them like apples while I read.. They're gone before I realize it. I really do love these tomatoes. 🍅🍅🍅
Each tomato went into a different recipe. One was for tuna salad with sautéed onions and peppers; one was for burger night; and the last for homemade salsa with onions, jalapenos, and spices. All recipes were made on different days, meaning that the tomatoes were good for a whole week before I used the last one. And they were all delicious to the end.
They were a little ripper than what I would like them to have been, but when it comes to fruit, you can’t say anything on what you prefer, and when it comes to canned goods you can’t say I want you to get the date out the furthest or even the fresh items like milk, eggs, bread, etc.
literally ROTTEN AND MOLDING!. I ordered these beefsteak tomatoes through delivery and got a molded, soggy and dripping mess! it leaked all over the rest of my groceries ruining everything elsein the bags! Food costs too much for this type of mess. What fool of a person shopping this order thought this was a good idea? You shopped it and rang it up and bagged it? Walmart has become this type of establishment. living up to the stereotype. Complete Trash
These are described as “slicing tomato”. They are smaller than a baseball and hard as rocks. Not close to ripe. They might ripen and be usable in a week. The label calls them”beefsteak”, which grow 4 times their size before ripening and changing color.
I didn’t get them . I also ordred hot links that cost a bout $5. They were by out of them no one tried to get a hold of me to substitute. Made my dinner incomplete, but also brought the price under $35, which cost $6.99 . My dinner got ruined and I got no hot links and it cost me more than it would have otherwise. YOU SUCK WALMART AND THAT TWO.
I cannot give no stars so had to choose one. Your shoppers needs to check produce before putting in peoples carts for delivery. One of the three tomatoes had an open gash in it AND they are hard as a rock. Light pink in color. I would never choose these for myself of anyone else!
These tomatoes were rotted in the package. They were starting to run out into the plastic wrapper. I called the store. They want me to bring them in and I'm not about to. I took a photo. I'll send it to you right now. I just threw them in the trash. I won't be ordering those again.
what is the 28.00 tip all about? I don't mine giving a tip but when you add the tip yourself that is just rude, I thought this was curtsy offered to us by Wal-Mart. we already signed at a fee and then you add more, its not something I can do, on social secretly. im 76 and my husband is sick. so no I am not happy.
