These are my go to strawberries. I buy them once a week sometimes more these are my go to strawberries. I buy them once a week sometimes more they taste delicious they’re nice and red. The price is reasonable. They taste delicious and they're nice and red. The price is reasonable.
Most often, the strawberries are fresh and good. I wish they were a little sweeter. Also, I wish that there was plastic around them. Mine came with about two missing berries. Anyone can pop the container open and grab a few. All items in containers or bottles need some extra protection/plastic seal on them.
Online it doesn't give the brand and it was Ocean Spray I think? I was thinking it would be like a store brand or something else and I am guessing the store doesn't always know what brand will be available so they left it generic, but I like to know the brand when purchasing ahead of time so I can decide yes or no and about half of the strawberries do not look that ripe. So I am giving the shopper the benefit of the doubt that they found the best they could. At least there aren't any moldy ones that I could see.
The strawberries were bruised on the bottom, so it'd be nice if the driver would consider when picking them to look at the container from all sides. It is a clear container that they come in if the driver didn't pick the strawberries the person who did the shopping should be a little bit more careful.
1st pack I purchased had 5 with mold on them,2nd package was excellent...so I guess it's hot or miss with the shoppers, they need to be taught how to look at produce for the customers... these were all delivered. now I pick up so I can look at the produce before I bring it home.
I ordered Driscolls but got Ocean Spray Strawberries and they are absolutely horrible. They are sour, bitter and hard. How do they make them look so red when they are obviously unripe and inedible. Really wanted the Driscoll's and we put no substitutions on the order, so this should not have happened.
The last three times that I've had strawberries delivered to me they were in bad shape they looked old they were shriveled up and I'm not complaining until now because it's ridiculous absolutely ridiculous that they can't look and check and make sure that these the produces in good shape or not. laziness
The entire container of strawberries was growing mold when i got them. Just a suggestion, but maybe the shoppers could slow down, and visually inspect "fresh" produce before putting them in the basket for customers. I know you can be in a hurry but 5 seconds could have prevented this.
Come on Walmart. Whyyy would you give a customer a half filled container of strawberries that are once again NOT fresh. Maybe the store needs to stop raising prices and focus more on things like better quality, associates that have a brain and fresh fruit. There is always something wrong with every pick up order. DO BETTER!!
These strawberries I received from delivery were moldy. Its a bit ridiculous. The only reason i even used delivery is because my child was sick, and i needed things for her. I should be able to trust that I won't receive moldy food. The shoppers should shop like they are shopping for themselves, not just grabbing the first thing on the shelf.
