Sumo Oranges are my favorite that I've tried so far. Big, sweet, and juicy: very much like the real thing back in Japan. Just be aware that you want a heavy one. The lighter ones typically are dried out and not as satisfying. But man, when you get a good one, it'll make your day.
Really interesting citrus, not too sweet not too sour. This has a much more prominent taste than other brands out there, it looks different but it's worth it.
This is the best orange I have had in a while! And all 4 of them were so good! And they peel easy! Not too sweet not sour, just the perfect citrus orange taste! Added more to my cart to buy again!
Without question one of the best pieces of fruit I've ever eaten. Juicy, sweet, easy to peel and without all the mess of its siblings. If you have picky eaters are just sick of the inconsistency of smaller Cuties or regular Naval oranges - Sumo is the way to go!
I don't think I've had these oranges before. they are definitely easier to peel than other oranges. the take is about the same, but I feel a little bit more sour. they are a little less juicy as well but maybe I didn't pick a ripe one out. I'm not an expert on picking fruit out, but overall pretty good. A more citrusy orange. Just as the name suggests.
I LOVE these oranges! The flavor is amazing and they're so easy to peel. One day f this particular batch of oranges had a little black mole, rotten spot. They're so good I cut it off and ate it anyway!
But, I am not a huge fan of regular oranges. I saw the Sumo and researched it and wanted to try one. It sounded like it may be a better experience. Well, I cannot count how many times I have ordered one of these, and they keep sending me regular nasty old oranges. Either this listing shouldn't be up, or Walmart is having trouble getting them in, but they always say in stock (not once seen it say out of stock). So, maybe it's the grocery pickers? I dunno, but it would be nice to order an item that says it's in stock and actually get it. I finally quit trying. If you can get your hands on one, please review it so I can live vicariously through your experience!
One was good, the other was soft, mushy, %26 almost rotten. I know the shopper should have noticed that, but it should not have been in there to be picked. Negligence on produce employees part. They are expensive too.
I ordered five sumo citrus for pick up with my order and was told they was out. I checked myself when I went for my pick up and there was plenty of sumo citrus. Picker will have to watch closer as sumo citrus was on sale. First mistake ever so everybody does a good job.
Don't believe the internet hype. This vile shriveled fruit tastes more like a clementine than an orange, but a clementine that was marinating in acid reflux. Not worth paying premium. Just buy some normal oranges.
