Wasn’t sure

Sabrina January 11, 2026

Wasn’t sure about these and decided I would try them and glad I did they have a unique taste the tart is not heavy and the sweet is just enough to hit the spot for me . They are juicy and refreshing . The only thing I was not to lean on was once cut they brown quickly otherwise I found them to be tasty.

Perfect apple

SMQ March 1, 2026

I love apples! This apple reminds me of how an ambrosia used to taste. Sweet and crunchy. i will definitely buy again. I would like to see them sold individually, not just bagged.

The ones that were not damaged were very good!

Anonymous February 21, 2026

Taste of the apples I could salvage was very good. Apples were nice and crunchy and sweet. I love the fact they are on the smaller side as my 4 yr old granddaughters love apples and these are the perfect size for them to finish the apple without wasting. A large percentage of them were badly bruised and the skins were broken. I assumed the bag was possibly dropped at one point. I will try them again when these are gone hoping for better quality. I bought three bags because everytime I wanted to order them they were OOS!

Bad apples

Jason March 16, 2026

I've never seen this brand in Walmart, if I had, I most definitely would not have purchased it. This was in a delivery as a substitute for the opals that I wanted. First, the entire bag had a heavy, waxy, slime all over it as well as all the apples. Next, over half of the apples had bad spots, one was almost as large as a half dollar, and actually contained what was a worm. I ordered because I wasn't able to go to the store, so I wasnt going to return them. I washed them and tried one, and it tasted like fermentation was just starting, Ive been a hobby wine maker for years so i know the taste. I'm not slamming Walmart, they're probably just giving a smaller orchard a chance which I'm all for, as long as the product is good. This, was not.

you can't see through the bag too well, but after opening and looking at the apples, not great they're soft, bruised and some have broken skins --im not excited about tasting them they may become a pie or sauce -but that's not what I wanted. 😔

Not smiling

William April 8, 2026

Every apple in the bag was terrible, very low quality. Threw them all in the trash. Extremely disappointed with Walmart picking fruit and vegetables for my families consumption. Not the first time either. Walmart must improve the product sent to my home.

Genetically made for Walmart

UnhappyCamper January 30, 2026

I saw these apples were specifically created for Walmart and the description said they were sweet , so I wanted to have my try. well, I'm guessing, because they were genetically made that is the reason they bruise to the touch. I de-corded it and the lining was completely bruised after. So in the long run, they're not worth the price. And they don't have any real special flavor. they are kinda sweet, but nothing to distinguish them from any other. And I have to say before, I even de-cored them they were completely bruised all over when I took them out of the bag. i thought maybe they got tossed around, and that's why they were so bruised, but after I saw what happened when I de-cored it, i realized it was just the genetic makeup of it that made it too delicate for an apple.

Walmart’s Poor Fruit Pickers

Selene March 28, 2026

When I purchased these apples from the store the first time they were crisp and sweet. Today, I received the same brand in my delivery and there was only two apples WITHOUT bruises and two looked as if they were banged against an object. The object left an impression of the shape and bruises.

They brought me a bag I could not use. There was liquid in the bag from decomposition. Only one was decomposing but it was already so bad it was halfway rotten through. I’m reconsidering my choices. Maybe I should have just paid a bit more to order from hyvee. Maybe it’ll be fresh and not gross out my whole family.

Rotten apples

Dennis March 20, 2026

Worst apples ever and as bad as the condition of the apples were they should never have been placed out for sale. First bag purchased and several and I mean several apples bruised and a couple with mold with this strange feel to them. There was something on them that made them almost feel sticky, but not sticky. Something was on them. Went to a different walmart and that bag was the same, had this strange coating on them almost like a sticky substance. Walmart needs to do a better job of inspecting what it is they are putting out for sale. 2 different stores, same results on these apples, highly do NOT recommend, no telling what's on them....
