Fresh produce made me a believer!

Alison August 19, 2025

My plans were foiled! I bought these because I wanted to throw rotten tomatoes at someone. But to my surprise, they were so incredibly fresh and red and juicy, I ended up making a tomato sandwich. It was so delicious that I changed my wicked ways and joined a convent. Seriously. These tomatoes are that good!

So very tasty and perfect

Gwendolyn June 10, 2025

So very tasty and fresh. Ripened just right, and every single tomato I purchased out of the three sets of tomatoes was in perfect condition, beautiful, and could not have been better. These taste just like they were picked straight from the garden. Such a wonderful treat. I enjoy eating one almost every day!

Scrumptious BLT'S

Teri June 7, 2025

This is my favorite time of the year for spending less time in the kitchen cooking hot meals. Preparing and eating more in season salads from fresh produce is ideal, quick and easy to whip up. I ordered all the ingredients and then some to make BLT's, assorted salads and sandwiches. I was disappointed that half my tomatoes were squished and the other half were extremely soft. BLT's require solid, red ripe slicing tomatoes. Mushy tomatoes don't make it since the juice oozes over the other ingredients. My delivery order from Walmart included tomatoes that I wasnt using until the next day. I did observe that the delivery person had all my items on the back seat of his vehicle. I'm guessing some of my heavy items were placed on top of my bag containing tomatoes. In addition to the bruised tomatoes, half of my order of avocados were soft. Too soft and discolored to make guacamole or slice for salads and sandwiches. With ingredients consisting of lightly toasted Great Value multigrain bread with a smidgen of mayonnaise, large leaves of butter lettuce, a few slices of Oscar Mayer Turkey bacon and sliced tomatoes anyone can make a delicious, nutritious bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich otherwise known as BLT. I was able to make 2 sandwiches, one for lunch and one for dinner, with my bruised, somewhat soft tomatoes and wasn't disappointed. (I reserved the tomatoes for the second sandwich until I was ready to indulge) This was the first time that I used turkey bacon for a BLT, it was mighty tasty. The Oscar Mayer brand was a great choice. I didn't miss all the fat from regular bacon! As usual, when I submitted a complaint to Walmart for a refund on my bruised produce they issued a refund to my bank account. I've been using Walmart delivery services for about six months. It's convenient, time consuming, no lifting and delivered to my front door. There are issues from time to time that I do submit to Walmart. Customer service does respond and makes it right all the time.

Order process

James June 10, 2025

Tomatoes are good. Order process not good. Shows a picture of a vine with 4-5 tomatoes on it. I want 3 vines of 4-5 tomatoes. I order 3 and I get 3 tomatoes. I don’t know how to order and get the number of tomatoes I want. If I order 15 I might get 15 vines of 4 or 5 tomatoes.

These tomatoes went bad with mold within a few days in my fridge. In usually buy Romas from another retailer, but thought I try these “on the vine” and yes I kept them in my crisper as I always store my tomatoes WOW… obliviously not fresh by the time it hit my delivery bag!

All your fruits and vegetables have really gone down as far as freshness! I'm very disappointed in what I've been purchasing and looking at in your produce department. I bought raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries the other day, and I got home and they were molded. not fully but certain pieces had mold on them. so I went to the store the next day and told your produce employee to tell your manager and I also told the customer service department at the desk what had happened. that day I was going to purchase more raspberries and I opened up four cartons and each one had mold in it. therefore, not purchasing anymore raspberries for sure! I understand that it's fresh fruit and it doesn't last forever but when you have several containers out there and four that I grabbed had mold in them. that's not good! The package of blackberries that I bought I thought didn't have mold in it and I got home to eat some and share with my daughter, and there was mold in it! this is not acceptable! if you're going to have fresh fruits for people to eat, then provide them without the mold and make sure your managers are checking the food before they put it on the floor to be sold! That's Ridiculous!

If this is Walmart standard for delivery orders, then you have failed. This is not the first time I've received rotten tomatoes. I know for a fact that delivery products don't just go through one set of hands or one set of eyes. Why is this still going on. I prefer delivery to save time. This does NOT save me time if i have to continuously bring my produce back.

Bad customer service.

anonymous June 13, 2025

5 tomatoes were on the vine and in good condition. However they threw in an old damaged tomato with the good ones. I took the bad tomato to the store along with a photo of all the tomatoes. A manager named Vanessa refused to give me a refund. I spend a lot of money at Walmart. I'm 78 years old and feel the manager treated me poorly.

There's NO EXCUSE for this!

Tuga July 17, 2025

There is no excuse for anyone to receive tomatoes or anything else that has mold and black spots that can clearly be seen through a clear bag. I'm not understanding what is happening here, but it is DISGUSTING! And everyone who should serve as a checkpoint should really pay closer attention and think whether they would want their food to be delivered in a gross and rotten state after paying money for it.

Didn't Fulfill Order

anonymous June 10, 2025

We pay extra to have W , since we are so busy during the summer in our office. I ordered 10 bunches of these for a camp here to make salsa, they sent one bunch, no explanation. Had to pull an extremely busy coworker from their duties to go all the way to walmart and buy more...
