Sweet and flavorful when fresh, but quality can vary. These organic strawberries are often very good — sweet, juicy, and flavorful — but they can be hit or miss. Some containers have perfectly ripe berries, while others can be a bit bland or have a few with mold starting. When they’re fresh, they taste fantastic and make a great snack or dessert topping. It’s a solid brand overall, but you have to be selective when choosing your container. Helpful Insight: Always check the bottom of the container for moisture or spots before buying — it’s the best way to avoid picking up berries that spoil early.
Sometimes they're good and sometimes they're not so good. The ones that I've ordered that have not been very good either go bad in a few days or they're not ripe. The ones I got today look OK but they're still not ripe so hopefully they'll ripen up before they go bad. I order organic strawberries, only. The best strawberries I have ever got from Walmart were the ones I ordered last month. They were Driscoll's organic strawberries. They were so delicious and not one of them went bad. I definitely rate them a 5. The ones I got today, I will rate them a 3 . Not sure if they are going to ripen and they sure won't have a taste when all of them partly yellow, except for the one that is mush in the bottom.
I can not shop for myself so I rely on Walmart shoppers to pick my produce as if they were buying for themselves. The produce has been sub par for about 4 to 5 months now. i don't want almost rotten fruit and veggies. please ask shoppers to be careful to pick better.
The plastic container was only half full and the strawberries were unripe. A carton no sane shopper would chose. They tell you they can be returned or exchanged but what's the advantage of shop and deliver when you have to make a trip to the store to return it.
I went to clean/wash the strawberries so i could use them, when I went to pick one up, it was all mushy!!! The entire container was that way!! I was very disappointed, I had to go to a local store to buy some as I needed these to decorate a brthday cake with!!
Are pickup staff trained to pick the moldy strawberries to benefit the store and not the customer? 4/5 times my pickup order has moldy, rotten strawberries and I end up throwing most away. I got two cartons with this past order and both were obviously bad.
We started buying these and they were great, then kept buying and then Walmart kept the product too long and sent out rotten ones. Where is the product control in the produce section of the store. You could see through the clear plastic container the mold.
low quality, moldy, leaking strawberry juice all over, mushy and gross. i had ordered them for delivery because i just went through surgery and can't drive. i tried to get a refund but they expected me to return strawberries to the store, which i can't do. so i just had to throw the whole basket kd strawberries away.
I ordered for delivery, fresh organic strawberries, two days ago. I took them out of the refrigerator this morning and they are hard (not frozen) and look like they could sprout mold at any second. I cleaned them, hoping to freshen them somehow, but it didn't work. This is a lot of money for strawberries that are not fresh.
have bought these at least 5 times but I his is the last. if I want to gamble I'll go to Vegas, not on produce. a couple of times these have been great. but the last couple of times awful. spoiled moldy nasty. I was able to save a few but the cost per pound is to high after I throw out all the bad ones it's too expensive
