This is a favorite item of mine. I always use this mix for roasted vegetables - just open the package and place it into a bowl and add some olive oil (or melted Land o' Lakes butter with Olive Oil) some garlic salt and pepper and mix around (I'll usually add some sliced onion too, either red or yellow). Place on a non-stick foil lined cookie sheet and bake at 425 degrees until browned and tender. It's so delicious and so super easy! Plus leftovers are still so good. Yum!
I bought these because Walmart was out of cauliflower, which causes the least of gas in the vegetable department. I try to eat cauliflower every day because it is very good for me. I forgot how the broccoli really helps keep my skin nice and soft and youthful if I eat it everyday due to the vitamin A. The carrots are an added bonus with the lycopene for my eye health
If I'm able to get these in person they are amazing and very fresh. When I order them for pickup they clearly use expired ones. It's very unfortunate, I've learned I have to go into the store if I want fresh produce, meat and eggs. While I don't mind doing it, what's the point of paying for Walmart
The expired date was the same date they delivered. Some of the veg. were turning yellow already. The shopper should have checked the use or sell by. I will give them the benefit of a doubt. The price was for a fresher bag, not one the was going to expire on the same date delivered.
The whole bag was rotten i threw it out
The cauliflower was this weird brown. The broccoli had slimy brown spots all over. I thought the carrots were a save, but they felt slimy. I washed the crap out of them and tried a bite. They tasted horrid. I think it was pretty much all rotten. They were not past the date.
No stars - Although the date on the package expired in a couple days, the vegetables were clearly expired. Cauliflower was brown and carrots were so dried out they appeared white in color. Hard to believe someone would think it was okay to sell. That is not the first time I've received this same mixed veggies looking like this and had to throw in the garbage so I will not be ordering vegetables from Walmart again.
Having let a year pass, tried to get this product again only to be met with equally disappointing results. Didn't last a few days in the fridge before becoming soggy and inedible.
who ever shopped for me pircked out a reduced price bag close to expiring so 1 day later the entire bag was very smelly and very nasty i wasted money on this purchase because it wasn't editable
Mix was good. I placed a pick up for 2 and the ones I got had a Best Buy date of the next day and were turning. I got the smaller one and was very happy with the item (and the expiration date)
