Nice subtle scent. Not overpowering and it takes care of the worst bathroom scents right quick and in a hurry. I ordered the giant refill for these.

The Fresh Wave Odor Removing Gel is a nice deodorizer. When I first opened it I thought the smell was a little overpowering but I put it in our closet by the shoes and when I walk in there now I don't notice the smell unless I get right next to it. It does seem to neutralize the shoe smell in the closet. I like it and will continue to use it.

We live in a house that was built in the '40s, and I tried the gel in a bathroom that we don't use that smells kind of musty. After 24 hours, the bathroom didn't have a smell. After 48 hours, you could smell the scent of the gel slightly. It smells like menthol to me, but it's not an overwhelming smell and you can't smell it strongly unless you are about 2 or 3 ft away from it. I removed the gel from the room and it was back to smelling musty again in 24 hours. The gel claims that it removes odors, but I can't really say whether or not it does that based on my trial of it. It may just be that, that bathroom needs better air circulation, because the room that it is attached to smells neutral. The bathroom doesn't have any water turned on in it right now, the humidity is controlled, so I can't necessarily say that there is something that is causing the odor (like mold) that would need to be cleaned or removed in order for the gel to permanently remove the standing odor. Based on the fact that I couldn't smell anything after 24 hours, I would guess that it does permanently remove odors. I included a picture of myself holding it in my hand. It's not a huge container, so it's a convenient size for small spaces and won't take up much room on counters and can fit on the back of a toilet. After 10 days of use, you can see that the gel pieces that were all the way at the top when it was opened have shrunk down about an inch. Based on that, if it continues to shrink down at the same rate, I would say that their estimate of this 15 oz. container lasting a maximum of 60 days is accurate. I think mine looks like it's probably going to last about 6 weeks.

This product is small and easy to use. You just peel off the top, replace the cover and place it in the desired area which is great. It smells really good too. However, I placed it in my bathroom which is relatively small and didnt noticea big difference in the smell. I'm not sure if this works as well as I'd like.

I got this odor removing gel to use near my garbage can. I think it stops small odors and occasionally I can smell a fresh scent even if I get close to the gel. It comes in an attractive black case with a decorative opening, so it looks nicer than most other odor removing gels.

I thought this would be good for musty closets. I wondered if it would be a strong scent, and it is pretty strong. My husband gets allergies if he's near heavy perfume scents so I'm not sure I can use this product. It's like something I've noticed in store restrooms or even public restrooms. Would work for others, but not me.

Fresh Wave Odor Removing Gel, 15 oz Canister- I RATE 2 STARS! This odor remover is plant based. I am happy it is easy to open and I don't need to touch the actual inside gel. I unscrewed the lid and removed the foil seal and replaced decorative lid with open flower design. I also noticed the Safer Choice emblem that it meets the U.S. EPA Safer Products Standards. The canister , label, and all the awesomeness just seems to good to be true. I was checking the ingredients on the label and it states that it is a proprietary blend of water, natural and plant oils, and other ingredients. Ummm okay! I attempted three different locations and three different times of day to see if it was working well to remove my odors for my cat which by the way it says it is safer for people, pets, and the planet. Keeps working on your odors up to 60 days. Also, please keep this away from children of all ages. This Fresh Wave Odor Removing Gel basically looks like ice or candy so please keep it away from children. I really gave it good try but it is extremely strong and me personally I couldn't wait to get rid of it. I don't know but it is so over powering in strength that I will not recommend!
