White or red onions are a key ingredient. In my pico de gallo, for me, it's all about the mix of the flavors and these onions are very flavorful, not to mention inexpensive. i like my pico de gallo to be juicy, not dry, and i could all but drink that juice when the flavors mux just right. This is a good onion that has plenty of flavor and i've never gotten rotten ones in the bag. It's inexpensive, and I get it delivered.Yippee
There were about 9 onions in the bag. Four of them were definitely on the small side however I do believe the bag did match the weight. Unfortunately there were two of the larger onions that were black/rotten and they were wet/soft and dripping. I had to throw them away and was left with about a pound to pound an a half of onions. Typically I don't do pick up for fresh food because of this issue.
The bag of white onions came rotten twice ordered. Going to wait to order these again. I just think they need to be looked at closely and if can't tell to give them a smelling through the mesh. One would be able to tell if they have to look at the middle of the onion bag for rot. I didn't know at the time that there is a place to upload a pic of the rotten black fungus on the white onions and the smell.
These are the onions I received in my curbside order… every one of the onions had some form of rot on them! Curbside is supposed to be a convenience not the trash can. Do better!
They give me onions was mold .shoppers need to make sure we as customers we get quality not just grab produce and throw it in the shopping cart , they need to make sure nothing is expired or produce is not good to eat . Please retrain staff members .
your produce all together has been lacking. the onions are constanly being molded when they get to me or go bad right after I get them. i understand shipping is all messed up but other markets have had better produce option recently. I hope this gets looked at and the issues taken seriously because families can't afford to continue to by produce that spoils quicker than it should. Also I may start to question if there is a mold issue in the facility causing issues all around for the department because the straberiies and all beries go bad fast that other places. For example Sam's Club berries outlast Walmart.
I’m dissatisfied with the Walmarts fruit and veggies. I bought a package of white onions today %26 they were delivered with several rotten ones unedible! Six out of 10 onions were rotten. See pictures. The last and bottom pic of the 4 onions are the only salvageable ones! I will contact Spark for an entire refund! TY!
The onions are usually great!! But I used delivery for this batch and they are 90% rotten! The biggest one was molded on one whole side. I don't usually do the delivery thing bc I like to pick my own food out but this time, it was a huge convenience. I hope that they pay better attention from now on when picking out food for customers.
Don't waste your time it everyday ordering produce thru pickup or delivery. Especially any type of onions the whole bag is always moldy and rotten multiple times now and multiple locations. Luckily I don't have to waste time or gas returning it if pickup order
Very disappointed with the quality. One onion was completely rotten when I opened it, and the rest were also starting to spoil. Definitely not fresh. Would not recommend.
