Fresh Whole Artichoke Vegetable 1 Each, Fresh Produce

I bought this Artichoke for my boyfriend who is in the hospital dying. I thought he'd get treated and get well, but sometimes things can't always work out as we wish. I may boil it, mix it with mashed avocado, and bring it up there to see if he can eat it, but it is not likely, and that is sad because he loves artichokes, It's a nice, healthy specimen.

You should see these beautiful artichokes I just got from Walmart. They come from the coast of California between Watsonvile and Monterey in a small place called Castroville, probably considered to be the artichoke capital of America. Mostly all artichokes and brussel sprouts and these are huge grade AAA sweet delicious greeness.🥳🥳🥳 a meal by themselves, enjoyment.

Being an actual real human that has really eaten these artichokes (and not ai) I really, REALLY love their selection of artichokes! Beautiful and large. I steam with garlic, olive oil, bread crumbs and parmesan cheese. Delicious. Fresh, clean and tasty

Edges a little more dry than I like and tips are split. HOWEVER, the flavor was very good! Considering that all of our produce is having to sit too long in the fields before being picked, this was a pretty good 'choke. May we soon return to our safe and normal picking schedules!

The quality of the produce that was chosen for me was extremely poor. The ARTICHOKE dry and withered, not fresh at all. When they are old and dry they become inedible. and The CILANTRO was wilted and dry, as if it hadn't been chilled. I had forgotten something so after picking up my order I went into the store. I went to the produce section and found that there were fresh artichokes mixed in with the old and leathery ones. I selected two "better" quality, not great because they were all a little worse for the wear, and swapped the artichokes that had be shopped for me. I also swapped fresh cilantro.

What sort of weird science project cooked up this artichoke??? Not only does it have a strange bulbous shape, but it tastes nothing like an actual artichoke, unless it GMo'd up the wazzoo, When cutting off the leaf tips in preparation for cooking, I noticed it did NOT smell like an artichoke. It did not turn color after cutting - oxidizing like other artichokes but IDK. Avoid, if you prefer to eat actual food. This is IDK what.

this service is agreat thing for people who are unable to get to store for health or any other reasons you are unable to shop yourself. However its not that great, because sometimes you get a really horrible person either the shopper, or the delivery person....??? this is just life and the reality of the situation. ... GOOD LUCK!!!

Unfortunately both artichokes were dried and shriveled at the tips of the leaves and moldy near the base, strangest of all they were an odd blueish green also near the stem. We needed 3 received 2 wish we hadn't gotten any! Normally they are good. Maybe because it was later evening? But the produce people should take off the shelf if bad. Threw them away.

VERY SMALL AND LATE SEASON LOOKING. At least an inch or more less in size than the Artichokes I bought in the store recently. The stem was very small, maybe 1/2 inch in diameter. NOT WORTH BUYING, esp. the price of $3.75. If I do not have some way to know the size and season/age when buying for home delivery, I will not not purchase again!

I love artichokes but they are so expensive so I bought this time because they were on sale Whoever did the order sent me rotten ones. I called customer support and they were refunded but they should have been on the shelf in the first place. People who make up the orders should be taught how to do them.I wish I was able to shop myself but I can't walk too good and don't drive any more.
