Always fresh and flavorful for cooking and to eat raw as a healthy snack (maybe a little ranch or veggie dip). Fairly priced comparable to other grocery stores. A staple in our fridge. We use in homemade soup, add when cooking a beef roast and meatloaf and as a side dish, just boil till soft and add butter/salt to taste
Always fresh, and so delicious. My little family and i love Walmart produce when it comes to fresh produce for a low price, we always pick Walmart. Veggies and fruit we purchase stay fresh for longer, have the best flavor, they always pick the best looking fruits and vegetables and we appreciate the quality care they put into the produce we buy to put in our dishes and on the table every day.
Wish these were a bit smaller--often so large. But, we love carrots--roasted or boiled. I have used the super large ones to grate for carrot salad or in slaws.
These carrots are basically crunchy little power-ups. Snack them raw, roast them, or toss them in a stew—they bring color, sweetness, and a sense of “I am healthy and sophisticated” to every bite. Warning: may cause spontaneous veggie admiration. 🥕✨
Lee%26Perring is the best seasoning for any type of meat. Couple Christmas I've been seasoning my turkey with it and rosemary it's that simple and flavorful with stuffing Many of us use a lot of seasonings but the only seasoning I use is onions salt and Lee%26Perring, turns out flavorful
Good carrots. I like putting shredded carrots in beans and in chicken and dumplins and soups and sometimes my boyfriend would make carrot and raisin salad but he died so I mostly just cook with them. I also like making my own angel hair coleslaw due to wearing dentures.
They are orange, taste good, affordable. Size and quality are all over the map. Being produce, not clones, variance is expected. I've had bags (delivery) that kinda gave me a chuckle. Which, I suppose, is more than can be expected from a bag of carrots...
I'm giving these 3 stars because the sizing in the bag was quite inconsistent. Some carrots were thick and hearty, while others were very thin, which makes it a bit of a challenge to get an even cook if you're roasting them whole. That said, they are a great staple to have in the fridge. I love keeping them around because they are: Rich in Beta-Carotene: Great for supporting eye health and vision. High in Fiber: Excellent for digestion and feeling full longer. Antioxidant Boost: They contain lutein and lycopene, which are great for heart health and skin. They taste fresh and crunchy, but I'd love to see better consistency in the sorting so they're easier to prep for recipes!
they looked great, no bad spots, no soft spots but had a slightly moldy smell even though I couldn't visually see any mold. Even after washing, peeling and cooking, they still smelled and tasted slightly moldy. I'll buy these again and hope they're better.
Walmart produce is just the worst. Hit and miss but mostly miss. If they don't figure it out myself and others will ship elsewhere. Nobody is going to keep paying membership and have to go to other stores for certain products, where they again have this “membership fee”. Choose a store that has good product in every department.
