I cleaned these up cut them in equal sizes boiled them for a half of hour on medium high...pulled them out of the water put them on a sheet of aluminum foil loaded it up with brown sugar drizzle some olive oil them wrapped um up then popped them in the oven for 45 minute at 300...what a treat
I love Walmart. I love I love I love all my very much very good you sell your puppy. Everybody loves walnut because it taste so good to get our groceries. Delivered from the van and the car so old people cannot have to go to the store and get this stuff because you bring it to our home.
First note, make sure you have a vegetable peeler or a paring knife to peel off the dirt encrusted outer skin. After that you've got options! They're one of my go to ingredients for any Stir Fry and I love them in my Chicken Stew. They're also amazing in Beef Stew. You can eat them raw and dip them in Peanut Butter for added flavor %26 protein. This is also great for salads either diced or shredded. One other neat trick, shred a carrot and add it to Spaghetti Sauce to cut down the acidity reducing heart burn (if that's an issue you deal with). Simmer long enough and the carrots dissolve completely and the only thing you will notice is a reduction of agita from the red sauce! Lots of good options with carrots!
Normally your carrots are the best. These particular carrots were very large and tasteless. These were shopped by a Walmart shopper, so I didn't have a choice. If I could have gotten to the store myself, I would not have picked these huge carrots. Bigger isn't always better.
I received these carrots today, they look old and I had to throw some out because they were rotting looking. I haven’t had a chance to put them in a stew yet and try the taste of what’s left in the bag that looked OK I am a little nervous about ordering 2 pound bag of carrots.
I cannot believe how small and SKINNY the carrots in this bag are. More than of half the bag has carrots no bigger than my pinkie finger. I am ashamed that this vendor was allowed to sell these to you. Where is the quality control at Walmart. The smallest carrots I have ever seen.
within 5 days, they were soft and could bend them with out them breaking the whole bag was not edible!! this was a delivery, and almost everytime its delievered the produce is borderline rotten and i will be charged wrong, double $$ or charged for an item i didnt receive, nor did i request it!!!
I am submitting a follow-up regarding my refund request. The system is only showing a refund of $1.97, which is not correct. I was charged approximately $11 for the carrots that I did not order in that quantity. I am requesting a full refund for the incorrect amount charged, not just $1.97. Additionally, the bananas I received were damaged and bruised. Please review my order and issue the correct refund for the overcharged amount. Thank you.
black spots on carrots. may have been good quality 6 months ago but upon me receiving them today, BAD I need credit. plus I received green pepper with age wrinkles. Old , not fresh. I order on line. I feel like I am getting old produce. Meat is always with expiration dates of the next day How can Wal-Mart inprove for me?????
The entire 2 lb bag of carrots was sprouted and slimy. They had the appearance of remnants. Should not have been on the shelf for pulling. Walmart can do better.
