A great Celery brand to cook or serve in many ways. Want the kids to eat more veggies as a snack? Sprinkle some " Original Jane's crazy mixed up salt" on a celery stick. It will satisfy a person's craving for salt and processed foods. Keep carrots around too and seasoned salt for a quick snack if there is nothing else.
Celery is healthy and it actually burns more calories in digesting it than what you ate so it's about as healthy as it gets! I put it in a couple of soups I make and in a salad or two, but my favorite way to eat it is to stuff it with pimento cheese or peanut butter! If you do peanut butter then put on a few raisins my Mom always called that ants on a log we kids thought it was so much fun to eat! I still make it.
The stock of celery I received was just as fresh as can be..I coped it up and put it in my vegetable soup and it work out perfect...really added some great flavors...and as we know fill the up with cream cheese or peanut butter and wow what a snack..
It's celery. It looks, smells, and tastes exactly like celery, which is honestly the kind of consistency I wish more products had. No surprises, no drama, just long green sticks living their best chlorophyll-filled lives. 10/10 would dip in peanut butter.
I love to cook and love making soups, stews and main dishes. When I can't grow my own celery, this takes care of needs perfectly. The product is fresh and each stalk breaks off clean and with a clear snap. The taste is till clean and fresh. Great to just grab a stalk, give it a quick rinse and just chew away for a health snack.
This was a smaller package of celery, the leaves were quite dirty and there was a small spider which I killed immediately when I started tearing the stalks apart. The celery itself was fine but the it was not good for the price. I won't stay that all of them are like that was just this particular bunch. Please keep an eye on any you buy.
Out of the last purchase that I bought of this celery it was just rubbery and falling over. It didn't even stand up firm. I don't really like to purchase Walmart produce cuz I feel like it's the bottom end of the barrel of produce. High prices low quality.
celery had stalks broken off. all over broken. should have been pulled from ahelf not sold to a customer. Walmart takes advantage of its customers who have groceries delivered or pucked up...who pay extra for this service by pawning off your subpar produce and close date products. its going to boye you in the end.
I'm lowering my past review from 4 stars to 1 star based on my most recent pick-up order of Lone Star from Texas, a different brand than I usually get. Although the picture doesn't show the height of the pile of leaves very well, I got more celery leaves than celery and the bunch was small. It yielded about 25% as much celery as I normally get from a bunch, plus it had chunks of mud on it
Ordered this twice. The first one I got was floppy. The second one I received looked like it had been run over. I tried to get a refund through the app since it was a pick up and I would have to drive it back to the store and physically return it. I just ended up tossing it.
