Garlic is Good for You

TwoFarmDogs April 23, 2026

I used to buy garlic bulbs int he 3 pack for years....forever, really. But when I buy the Big Bag Fresh Whole Garlic, 20 oz I find that I all of a sudden have "enough garlic" to do a whole tray of roasted garlic bulbs! it's so much cheaper, too. Def thumbs up!

Fresh and crisp, great for everyday use

jion April 4, 2026

The garlic I bought this time is very fresh. So far, I haven't found any shriveled or spoiled cloves, and the overall quality is quite good. The cloves are firm and have a normal, clean smell. The texture is great as well — it's nice and crunchy when eaten raw. I like to have a few cloves with noodles, which adds flavor and really boosts the appetite. Overall, the quality is consistent and suitable for everyday cooking. I would consider buying it again.

its good garlic, but I'm unable to go to the stores, so I count on deliveries. the bag of garlic that I received was sprouting and some rotten cloves were in it. it would be nice if the grocery shoppers at Wal-Mart would not give me the produce that was spoiling.

Sprouting garlic

Mary July 6, 2025

most of the garlic was sprouted and as a result of poor quality and some of which is not suitable for consumption. The sprouted garlic is visible through the bag. Each time I buy produce I cross my fingers that it will come in a satisfactory condition Walmart needs to try harder! 2.5 or less as an overall rating for the produce means that something is wrong with the way that produce is handled. If sales/profit is not where Walmart desires, possibly Walmart should read with interest and a proactive attitude some of these reviews and feel compelled to assert positive change to ensure Customer loyalty!

Product itself is almost as good as our own, BUT the package had been opened in the produce dept by an in-store shopper. We use the delivery service most always in the winter. Us "mature" adults must take EVER caution against falling. I HIGHLY commend using the app to order for delivery, FREE over $35.00 order

Be aware.

Paula April 28, 2026

Beware. some of the bulbs in the packages have already matured and they are dried out or flavorless or have been growing without being obvious. thing is that it's hard to tell from the outside. once you get inside bag you find out. I use a lot of fresh garlic and I thought this would be the smartest way to do it. but I end up throwing so much away it would be cheaper to do the single bulbs. There are some that are okay but don't assume they will all be okay. I think out of that whole bag, I had maybe four bulbs total that were of any flavor.

Don't waste your money!

lisa March 6, 2026

Don't waste your money. Seems like old garlic, some rotted and the majority of bulbs are so small that one full bulb chopped would be less than one whole elephant clove chopped I would never purchase this again. 3rd photo are 2 of the bulbs taken beside a grape tomato.

This batch is totally different from the usual. Looks like “recycled” from a lot or rejected stock. Bulbs are not intact or exposed and there are many loose cloves!!! Wondering if the bag was just reused and filled up with non-Spice World product instead. Really disappointed. I'm afraid these will not last long and will sprout soon all at the same time!

save your time and money

anonymous May 10, 2026

Lots of small garlic bulbs that were hard to use. Also hidden mold that couldn't be seen because of the packaging. I have given it 2 tries because of the amount of garlic we cook with but I am going to stick with the smaller packs that have nice size bulbs and you can see them fully, going forward.
