The weight per quantity varies each time I order broccoli. One day I might receive one stalk at 1 pound and the next day one stalk is .6 of a pound. The two stalks I received today equal .7 of a pound TOGETHER! Not enough to equal a decent side dish for a dinner for three people. It would be nice if we could choose our broccoli by the weight, instead of the stalk. On a positive note, the quality is always very good.
enough to hold the crown together. Didn't get Broccoli Crowns got a long fat stock with a small crown on top. Should have just bought whole. It was fresh. Don't like writing bad reviews but then I don't want to pay extra for crowns %26 get the whole stalk.
Broccoli can be good if they have a shopper who knows how to shop and not pick out old and gross stalks. I wouldn't recommend the delivery service for it. Go in and get it yourself don't depend on these awful shoppers who don't know how to tell bad produce from good produce because they don't care. Some of them can't tell broccoli crowns from the others with more stalk on them. They usually always get the wrong ones because I always want crowns. Walmart doesn't care either if you get bad produce from delivery. Read the reviews on the red potatoes!
I bought these online and twice they sent me the wrong broccoli scrawny little thing wasn't worth the purchase. I know they gave me the wrong broccoli. It's not the broccoli I ordered the broccoli in the pictures is what I want with the broccoli they sent me was mostly stem and a few little spurts very unhappy.
This is the 5th or 6th time that i have ordered produce to be delivered to my house and i look at it and its already starting to rot. whoever is picking my order is not even looking at the quality of the produce and this is happening a lot in the last few months.
If I had known the crown of broccoli would be almost smaller than my hand, I would have ordered multiples. The amount I got would make a better snack than any difference to the meal I was going to make. I mean, we got a good chuckle when I opened the bag, but now what?
I will definitely make sure I go in if I ever want broccoli. I have never had a problem with any other items so far except the broccoli. It’s so tiny. It’s a little bit bigger than an average apple.
I smelled something bad when I unpacked the groceries on Saturday when I got home. When I pulled the broccoli heads out Monday evening to make dinner, one was slimy and mashed. The other didn’t look good either. Can’t believe someone picked rotten broccoli for our order.
EVERYTIME, YOU ORDER PRODUCE IT COMES WILTED BROWN AND SOMETIMES ROTTEN THEY JUST DONT LOOK AT WHAT THEY PICK UP WHEN THEIR FILLING THE ORDER I KNOW IT IS A JOB BUT I WORK HARD FOR MY MONEY AS WELL AND TO SPEND IT ON SOMETHING MY FAMILY CANNOT EAT IS JUST CRAZY TO ME
This was not a pleasant surprise. The broccoli I received was warm and limp and about the size of a baseball. The price is 1.97 per pound and I received less than half a pound yet I was charged 1.83. That doesn’t math well. I cannot demonstrate how rubbery it is but it compares to celery left in the refrigerator for two months.
