Hi price for such a small head of cauliflower

TiredMom January 28, 2026

The cauliflower looks fresh enough (I haven’t opened the plastic to be sure) but it is only 4 inches across. I was expecting one twice as big. In looking at the other reviews small cauliflower heads are common but several people said that they have gone into the store and found larger heads. If you have a range of sizes why don’t you charge by weight instead of charging the same price no matter what size it is? I know, only the customers read the reviews. I will call and get my messages to corporate that way. In the future I won’t order cauliflower through delivery or pickup. If I can’t come in and pick my own I just won’t get it…I’m making a list of items that need to go by that policy.

Tiny pint sized cauliflower!

Sherry November 6, 2025

I generally have no issue with the fresh produce picked for my order, but this was the tiniest head of cauliflower I’ve ever had. Honestly about the size of a grapefruit. To top that off it was not the freshest. I needed to use it right away for a salad I was preparing or I would have returned it. I wish the associates who fill the produce orders would stop and ask themselves. “Would I be happy with this?”

My goodness this is the tiniest little cauliflower i’ve ever seen when people are planning for Thanksgiving and get together. You’ve gotta tell these people that pick up the vegetables that you know pick up good ones pick up nice size ones now I almost have to do another pick up order and come back to get more they did it with my broccoli, too two tiny little things and I know they have nice big ones there because I was there the other day and picked up my own groceries by myself and was able to choose nice big ones and this head of cauliflower would like feed one and a half persons come on.

Tiny cauliflower

Rikki October 26, 2025

Horrible this is the smallest cauliflower I’ve ever seen. It’s about the size of a baseball and I paid almost 4 dollars for it. Note to self never order produce to be delivered their pickers don’t care. I put it next to an English muffin just for reference.

$4 for a TINY Cauliflower!

netshopper October 30, 2025

I order my groceries delivered from Walmart. I hesitated about ordering a head of cauliflower that cost $3.84, but did order it because I need it an ingredient in a recipe. The cauliflower that was delivered to me is about the size of the bell pepper I also ordered. I don't remember ever seeing a head of cauliflower as small as this. Walmart should be ashamed of charging $3.85 for this ($4 or more including sales tax)! The quality of the bundle of tiny radishes for almost $2 and the inferior celery aren't any more reasonable, but I'm taking care of one problem at a time. Inflated grocery prices are a problem, but I'm willing to pay for reasonable quality produce. The quality of the produce delivered to me this morning is NOT reasonable; therefore, I will contact Walmart headquarters to report these problems.

Tiny, Overpriced Cauliflower — Very Disappointing

Oliver November 16, 2025

I ordered this through Walmart delivery, and I would never have picked this in the store. Even with the leaves on, the head was shockingly tiny—smaller than the palm of my --also very small hand. After trimming, it yielded only about 10 ounces of usable cauliflower. Paying $4 for something this small is unacceptable. Very disappointed in the quality control for delivered produce--especially in this economy

So disappointed.

Marilyn December 8, 2025

First time having groceries delivered. The cauliflower was $3.64. When held in the palm of my hand (which was quite easy to do), you could still see both my thumb and pinky finger. Once the green leaves were removed, i was left with an amount of white cauliflower that was about the size of a small grapefruit. For size comparison, that is a 15 oz can of spinach. Most expensive cauliflower ever. Will be the last time I order produce for pickup or delivery... and if I have to go in to get the produce, might as well get the rest while in there.

Cauliflower has worms!!!

MANISHA October 2, 2025

The cauliflower had worms and bugs in it, so we had to trash the entire order that had other vegetables too. Extremely dissatisfied with the food products that Walmart is shipping. We expect some basic quality and inspection before a food product is shipped. Would like to get a full refund of my order.

Itsy Bitsy Cauliflower

Travis December 10, 2025

I have never in my life seen such a small head of cauliflower for sale at any grocery store - and I have been to my fair share! It is probably 20% of the volume you would get from a "normal-size" cauliflower. The size variance should be in the product description. I should have looked at the reviews first because now I see other photos next to apples or tomatoes as size references. To see it is to believe it!

Don't bother... it's not worth the $3

Maria January 29, 2026

The head i received, purchased for pickup, was $2.97 for a 13 oz head the size of a softball! Never in my life have I ever seen a head so small and picked too early, for sale ANYWHERE! A normal head feeds a family of 4 with nice portion sizes - this one head feed 1 person, barely. So very disappointed. Not worth buying produce sight unseen and Walmart does not publish a ballpark weight, just an eaches.
