Fresh Yellow Onions, 3 lb Bag

These standard yellow onions were fresh and very affordable. They contained no soft spots and were firm and solid. I am rethinking my choices for produce recently. All produce has to be specifically washed in a special way. so if tasty why not use these?

This was an exceptional bag of yellow onions! Every onion was fresh, firm, clean, and a great size with no soft spots or spoilage at all. It's rare to get a whole bag where every single onion is such high quality. They have excellent flavor and have worked perfectly in everything I've cooked. I was genuinely impressed and will definitely order these again. Walmart delivered a fantastic product!

Good deal, great taste! Fresh onions are so good in so many kinds of meals! Very delicious when fried and added to eggs when cooking, tasty when cooked with ground pork (or beef), very good in sandwiches and definitely needed for better taste in soups!

I ordered home delivery for the first time and decided to take a chance and order onions. I was delighted to find that the Walmart employee selected a bag of onions that were perfect quality and look exactly like the photo in the ad ! I think that whether you get good produce for home delivery depends on the particular store and the particular employee who is assigned to your order. I certainly lucked out and really appreciate it!

I put onions in everything. Ok everything except chocolate cake. Just to make things easier and faster when I cook, I grab a bag of these fresh onions. It takes me about 5 minutes to break them down and ready for chopping. Through them in a food chopper and bam you ser done. Store in the Fridge and you are all set.

I use onions in most every meal that I make so I always like to have onions on hand, storing the in the basement so that when I've run through what I have in the kitchen I can replenish my kitchen stock and then order more. Getting these bulk bags is a really budget friendly convenience that I am delighted to take advantage of. The ONLY complaint that I have about them is that I prefer that my onions be rock hard so that I can be mindful of their hand feel to know which ones need to be used first, and there is always one onion in these bulk bags that has a soft spot which requires attention and there is product loss after it's been cleaned and prepped, which means that I've wasted some of my grocery budget. But, overall, they're still a good value and I just make sure to check them as soon as I get them so that I can cull out the softer ones to use immediately to mitigate any waste and then keep checking to make sure that I get the most from my grocery budget

These are good basic yellow onions to keep around for everyday cooking. I use onions constantly for soups, taco meat, burgers, spaghetti, roasted vegetables, and breakfast skillets, so buying the bag is convenient and budget friendly. The onions I received were fresh with a nice texture and worked well sautéed or cooked down into recipes. They do lean a little milder and slightly sweeter versus having a super strong onion flavor, which some people may actually prefer. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I was hoping for a little fuller, richer onion flavor in certain dishes, but overall they still cooked well and were good quality for the price. Definitely a staple item I keep in my kitchen.

I ran a quick trip to the store to grab some items. I tried to save time by purchasing a bag instead of picking out individual onions. As with almost any produce you buy pre-selected in a bag, you don't get to choose. Some had blemishes which I wouldn't have picked had I selected them individually.

Looked like the bag of onions had been frozen then sold … they were mostly mushier … I threw them out …… second time this month that something in my produce is looking old or that it should have been in the discounted table ….. I think your order packets need to be shown what good produce looks like. Sorry for this review …. But like I said it had happened twice this month.
