The peach was not bruised and quite firm. It started to ripen quickly, so I opened it before it was real soft to the touch so I wouldn't have to throw it out from mold. It was very good, juicy and delicious, but be prepared for a short shelf life. The price was way better than it has been and I would buy them again only purchasing what I would use in a two day span because they all ripen at the same time. It was great to have a fresh peach and the nectarines look good also
It wasn't actually a peach. It's a nectarine. The sticker for the PLU code was way too sticky and left a sticky place on the fruit. Don't get me wrong, I like nectarines. But don't bring me one fruit when I ordered the other. It is not the shopper's fault either, because it said peach on the sticker!
The recent I give it a 2. It's because it's what's so hard. It could break a tooth. It's supposed to be nice and juicy and it was not. Maybe next time one of the texts pulls out 1 needs to be put in a bag. Can they check make sure that these fruits are nice soft and fresh.
this is not walmarts fault, it's the fault of either the growers or the truckers who hauled it..... and i know what i'm talking about as i drove a semi for fourteen years and hauled fruit. these peaches were frozen somewhere along the way. changes the texture of the flesh
This item has mold on it after being on my counter for 3 days. The Ira hrs were extremely underripe and instead of a normal ripening, the peaches are hard AND decaying. Do not buy peaches from Walmart. Buy them from a farmstand. Ridiculous how much fruit waste I have over the last year ordering from Walmart.
they were rock hard and have absolutely no juice to them. they'll have to sit in the sun until they almost rotten just to be edible. every time we order fruit for delivery, whoever picks the groceries for us always picks the least ripe and ready to eat we have had to wait over a week and a half for bananas to turn the proper shade to eat because they come to us as green as if they were just growing.
Low quality unable last two purchase not ready to eat way to hard impossible to cut open when near ready but has no taste that bit purchase 2 weeks apart same junk impossible to free pit from fruit. Lowers customers desire to repurchase any more peaches from Walmart totally unhappy with purchases!
When I received my groceries, I had help putting them away. I never looked at these peaches until this morning. Both peaches were bruised. One was splitting half, but continued to be closed. I will not be using these beaches and I think that your employees need to be looking at the vegetables and fruits more closely before they pack them and give them to the clients.
One of my peaches was smashed I'm assuming in transport.a better way is needed to transport fragile or easily damaged items. Everything else was perfect my delivery driver (Alesha) I think was her name. Did a very good job. Well except the pulverized. Peach..have a blessed day
I wish you could train the employees that are responsible of picking online orders how to choose produce. This is the second time this happens. The first time I got rotten tomatoes I needed to make dinner. I just opened the produce plastic bag to grab a peach and found a bitten peach. What am I supposed to do when i pay for my groceries and the person who pulled my order did a bad job and thought it would be funny to put a bitten peach. Do better please
