Big juicy peaches!! Try this Freeze the peaches for at least 2 hours, then shave them (we used our old A f rame box style cheese grater) then shave into a bowl and put a little bit of honey on them, stir it up a little bit of whipped cream or other fruit if you want it is so refreshing and delicious yummy try it
we all love peaches. They all look it good shape. not bruised or mushy. we will see if they are sweet. When I was a kid my dad would walk around the market tasting one then ten tell the cashier to charge for it . some stores had samples .a lady whith gloves would hand out samples with toothpicks in them . so far so good.
Peaches....takes me back to my childhood at Grandma's. Well, this years crop from Walmart, anyway. I let them sit out for 2 to 3 days and then refrigerate them. Talk about juicy and sweet! I have to hold mine over a plate, but the sacrifice is worth the reward!
found these peaches sweet and very juicy. you can only get them like this once a year. i load up on fresh peaches. easy to peel just by dropping into pan of hot water for few seconds then plunge into a bowl of ice water the peels come off easily. do the same things with tomatoes. i prefer pulp than the skin.
The peach was not bruised and quite firm. It started to ripen quickly, so I opened it before it was real soft to the touch so I wouldn't have to throw it out from mold. It was very good, juicy and delicious, but be prepared for a short shelf life. The price was way better than it has been and I would buy them again only purchasing what I would use in a two day span because they all ripen at the same time. It was great to have a fresh peach and the nectarines look good also
I ordered this piece of fruit to be shopped and delivered to me. The peach itself appeared to be extremely appealing by appearances alone. When I actually attempted to eat it @ 24-48 hours later I found the peach tasting very mealy and undesirable to eat. I do not find this particular peach to be either a good value nor would I in good faith recommend the purchasing of this item at present. I do however want to repoint out that the visual appearance of this peach not to be verifiable by sight nor feel of the actual peach
Walmart, used to be good and keeping their items stocked when I go in the store. I find items but on the website to order a delivery it seems that they never have half of the stuff I order. I don't know if the shoppers are too lazy to look for it so they just say it's not fair superior has way better fruit and produce than Walmart.
this is not walmarts fault, it's the fault of either the growers or the truckers who hauled it..... and i know what i'm talking about as i drove a semi for fourteen years and hauled fruit. these peaches were frozen somewhere along the way. changes the texture of the flesh
I ordered peaches from Walmart, and two of them were disgusting and they went in the trash because they were very, very soft and moldy. I don't understand how your pickers can do something like that and put it in a bag to be driven to me disgusting. Maybe you need to get pickers or care about their jobs because these people sure don't and it's not the first time they're sending a disgusting items from produce and the meat department! Maybe you need to get pickers or care about their jobs because these people sure don't and it's not the first time they're sending a disgusting items from produce and the meat department! Maybe you need to hire a new people who care about what's going out the door from Walmart?
Peaches were smashed. Spent way too much time calling customer service about this with no results. This Walmart is approximately one mile from my house. Recent orders have all had problems. Yesterday's smashed peaches was the worst. I can't order again! I spent two hours calling about 5 peaches! Threw them away. Just saw I need photos as proof. Life is too short to deal with Walmart delivery. I called repeatedly and held on line for an eternity. No results. My mistake = I SHOULD NEVER HAVE ORDERED PERISHABLES FROM WALMART! Impossible to get anyone on line to help with the delivery problem. Operation is too big. Employees apathetic! Tossed the fruit. Saw that I need photos. I won't lie for the price of six peaches. I spent over an hour trying to reach someone by I phone to help. Stupid me!
