I'm not much of a pie eater, but this is perfect for a craving. I like to put it in the microwave for 30-60 seconds. The filling tastes homemade, not an imatation flavor. I would recommend this product. It also has many options like apple, blueberry, peach, pecan, pumpkin to name a few.
If at all probable please do not and I say again, “DO NOT SUBSTITUTE ANY OTHER OTHER PIE FOR THR LEMON” I order lemon, I do not want any other type of pie, so if you don't have the lemon, I don't want any other type of pie in its place. Thank you for your understanding, lemon pie “ONLY”
These little pies are great for lunch bags, single folks, or in situations where a family member is the only person liking a certain type of pie. I'm partial to the lemon and pecan. Bought a couple blueberry ones to try. My only complaint is that I would like to see at least another tablespoon of filling in them. Recommend.
My husband ate this lemon pie, he said it was OK. Like the apple pie, he wished there was some sort of sugar glaze on the crust, it's an exceptional value. If you're looking for something, that's not too sweet, you'll probably like this. he did say the lemon was not overpowering., crust as well made.
this pie was a substitute. Wal-Mart started filling the order at the last minute and this was a substitute for apple pie. I was at work when the substitution message came through and was unable to reply or deny. Originally, the apple pies were for my wife. I agreed to eat one and let her have the other which she hasn't done. All I can say about the taste is, it's like having a lemon drop. Which I do not care for.
Did not like at all! The crust of this pie tasted like the crust of a pot pie. Because of that, it tasted like a pot pie filled with lemon filling instead of turkey, chicken, gravy and/or vegetables. Not a good combination! This pie needs improvement.
Walmart needs to redo the packaging to this, so dumb on leaving the corners open with ZERO clue. I bought 4 pies one Lemon and 3 S'mores Mini Baked Pie every pie when looking inside the cardboard box had small micro bugs crawling inside. Not sure if they are silverfish babies or some other bug but they are very small, Walmart should do a better job at fully sealing the boxes like I said the ends of the boxes on each side are always OPEN so heaven knows what's crawling in and out while they are sitting for days on the shelve. The rip tab is glued and so is the other side, but the inner flap is not so if you push down on the box, you can see the two ends of the box open up super easy.
We used to enjoy these little single-sized lemon pies years back but the recent ones have only a half at best of the lemon filling that once was. The thinner layer of lemon filling was almost gummy as the inner sides of the top and bottom crust layers nearly touched each other. The taste of the crust was repulsive. After tasting one, the rest of it along with the unopened lemon pies...Went straight into compactor. Would hope no human or animal would be deceived into eating such.
all of the pie is this company makes are the worst pies I have ever had I would not buy anymore and I would not even take them if they were free they are garbage I don't know what is wrong with this company they used to be excellent pies. now they are just garbage and that's where they belong in the garbage can. whatever happened to quality that is the worst pie though I've ever had and the worst pie filling. somebody needs to learn how to cook. from now on if I want to pie I will make my own I know how to make pies from scratch not this kind of garbage
All these were expired on the day purchased and received. The pumpkin pie was dry as sand. This lemon one was also dry, just had a taste of lemon. Not fresh. Probably you have to get them in person and check yourself the expiration date or “better” before date.
