I think I just may have to go out and get me a few of theses pies now. I like them because I feel like I get my money's worth and they seem cheaper then other fruit filled pies
This mini apple pie was and is delicious. I had it eaten before I left the store...
If you do not want a whole pie, try this. The taste is fabulous! Go Walmart!! The crust is nice and flakey, with a great taste. The filling is wonderful. I simply do not want an entire 9 inch pie, so this is perfect for me. It allows me to have a piece of pie, without buying something large. I was happily surprised by the taste and quality of this pie. If you had Table Talk pies when you were young, you can use those to gauge the size of this pie.
I could pass this off as homemade
We love this little pie my husband and I share it as neither one needs to eat sweets but I cut it in half heat it up and ice cream on Top DELISH!!! As a WM Cashier I sold a lot of these :)
I have *never* (and I mean *never ever*) had such a scrumptious, store-bought pie. The crust was amazing. Normally store-bought pies are more of an "A-for-effort" affair. These pies are the real deal. A flaky crust? I'm a convert. More. More. The single serving size is genius. Is it ethically wrong for me to stop by my local Walmart grocery on the way home and clean them out their stock?
We bought 4 pies to try them out. They were delicious. 89 cents each. Well worth the buy and better tasting and don't feel cheap or artificially made like some others. However, we bought 2 apple and 2 cherry but we got 3 apple and 1 cherry. Yes I typed that correctly. There was an apple pie in a cherry pie box. My wife thought there was something wrong with it and for safety's sake threw it away until we discovered the problem. Not a serious issue, just Walmart has to be a bit more careful when they package their items.
Different flavors like blueberry, apple and cherry are my son's favorites for listening lunch bag.
They are good but they need more fruit the pecan are very good but the fruit are a bit dry
The price is great, the filling is great and the bottom crust is great. The top crust is awful. It is like a piece of toast with no butter. When we buy these pies for our Grandchildren, we sprinkle the top with milk, butter, sugar and cinnamon. We then have to re-bake the pies to get that sweet crusty top crust. You really need to add milk, butter, sugar and cinnamon to the top of these pies before you bake them!
