The cake itself is actually pretty good, but when it comes to the frosting to me there is just an aftertaste that is no good. it almost tastes like it's sugar-free. and I actually went to check the label to double-check to make sure it wasn't sugar-free or something because of the taste of the frosting. not good. not good at all.

My baby girl who by the way is 43 loves birthday cake and mind you it was my birthday January 19th and she wasn’t satisfied because we didn’t have white birthday cake so I surprise her with this little round birthday cake- she is so happy!! The cake is moist very yummy, texture is perfect and price was on point!! Thanks for making my baby Lexi so happy tonight 1-20-26 at 9:13 pm great delivery was fast on time !! Great job Walmart

When it was checked the frosting was damaged and my shopper apologized to me when delivered it. I didn’t get upset since I bought it for myself as it was a treat. But please be more careful when you check out someone else’s. It might be for a special reason.

I buy this perfect sized little fresh deli made in bakery cake, everytime I go or send for Walmart supplies Its yummy, fresh, and creamy 2 layered vanilla cake no one can resist! IM HOOKED ON THIS DESERT FOR MY TASTEBUDS TO EXPLODE IN EAGER ANTICIPATION OF ITS TASTY DELIGHT, IN WHICH NOTHING ELSE IN ALL THE WORLD COULD BE AS WONDERFUL AND PLEASING AS IT IS!!! MY HATS OFF TO THE COOK! IF YOU EVER NEED HELP OR A TASTE TESTER, I CAN BE THERE 24/7, JUST FOR YOU!!!! ITS PERFECT!

Very surprised at how tender and fresh! It was a bit dry but I think it was more of a sponge layer. The buttercream icing was not too sweet. I imagined it was baked elsewhere, frozen, then thawed but I could be mistaken. You won’t be disappointed! The size was perfect for our small party. Just enough to share after a birthday dinner.

Picture shown different looked larger then was sent this personal one 😆 still was moist and delicious 😋 jus dont have none left to fill the reason for me getting it..(late-night no kids around personal snack) all in all 10000%% Ya got me again WALMART..lol 🤣🥰🥰

Looks exactly the same as the pic. Nice, pretty little cake. Gives about 4 large pieces or 6 small. Price is good, too. I just wanted a little cake to celebrate my birthday, alone, %26 have a few pieces in the days before %26 after. Highly recommend.

I have no bakeries anywhere near my home so when there's a birthday coming up, I need help! Well the Walmart bakery has really done their job complete with looks, taste, texture and all around fabulous! Thanks!

It's smaller than the picture suggests but it is double layered. You can get 4-6 pieces. They look small but cake slices aren't supposed to be that big. Technically. Seemed a tad dryer than thought it would be. Almost like it had been frozen then thawed. Did not affect the frosting one bit. Which is the whole point of having cake.

This cake taste like it was baked, six months prior, to my purchase. I was very disappointed! I have purchased many cakes from Walmart, however this by far, was the worst! My first thought was, are they serious? then after checking the expiration date, I thought, they are serious lol. The persons who bake this cake? should be terminated immediately, and enrolled in Betty Crocker Baking For Beginners or Duncan Hines Academy. What the heck Walmart?
