This coconut cake is literally one of the best ones I've had from Walmart. it's moist, buttery, not overly sweet, right amount of chocolate and the icing is light and fluffy. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was and I had to stop myself from eating half of the cake. The toasted coconut adds good texture and flavor to the cake. I saw someone try this on a YouTube short and gave it a good score so I had to try it myself. I love coconut cake and this is one of the best I've had. it's literally not bad, it's so good and I will get this again on my next grocery order.

This is one of the best little cakes you can buy. It is better than most cakes bought in stand-alone bakeries. Moist, tender crumb and the frosting is light and not overly sweet.

Originally l wanted the Pepperidge Farm Coconut Cake. I thought this would be a fair substitute, but it doesn't compare to PF. I was surprised an ice cream cake was the suggested replacement for the out of stock PF cake. So l shopped for another coconut cake. This cake is good, but lacks the creamy frosting . I think it's a thin layer of whipped cream on top. Plus it's more of a yellow cake when l prefer a white cake. But the coconut sides do add flavor to an otherwise bland cake.

Too salty. I don’t know why this cake is so salty but it’s not advertised as a salty/ sweet cake. I wouldn’t have ordered it if I had known it was like that. It’s the cake part that is too salty. The frosting was a whipped cream frosting and was good. The toasted coconut on the sides was good. However the cake was too salty. Maybe there was a mistake with the baking of the particular batch I purchased but I’m not going to order it again.

Absolutely awful! This is so much worse than the previous version of coconut cake that was sold. Way less coconut, almost no coconut flavor, and disgusting frosting. Bring back the old version. It needs actual buttercream and way more coconut.

Let me start by saying I am not reviewing this item, because I did not receive it. I picked up my online order and the item was not included. This seems to be a recurring problem. I understand that mistakes happen but this is ongoing. Although I received a refund for this item, I would prefer to have received it and not have to go through the process of getting a refund. As I’m sure you would prefer getting the funds for the purchase. This is a cost of my time and money. Thanks.

this is not coconut cake, this is coconut shavings and maybe coconut icing. so it's a no for me coconut cake means the actual cake tastes like coconut not just the icing with coconut shavings trash

There's not 1 thing any of us liked about it. The coconut cake was dry n very bland, hardly ANY flavor, will never buy this 1 cake again, NOT worth the money
