this was a very big hit at my mother's memory care facility for her birthday. ask the housemates loved the gentle delicate summer flavor. Mom said it was even refreshing... if a cake can be refreshing. it was lovely and yummy. the highest praise for a baked good

Blackberry cake
This is my favorite cake from Walmart! The blackberry icing is very tasty, not too sweet. It compliments the white cake perfectly. I hope it is available for purchase for a long time.

This cake was really good. It was soft and fresh and the blackberry icing was really good! It reminded our family of the taste of a jelly krimpet. it was tasty.

Birthday cake choice
This was a birthday cake for my granddaughter who turned 16. The cake I chose was not available and this substitute was sent. I was worried she would not like it, but she loved it.

Visually appealing, but TERRIBLE taste and texture
Sounded amazing, looked beautiful but tastes AWFUL! Cake was incredibly dry. Frosting has no flavor despite its rich blackberry color. Greasy frosting and heavily sweet. Gross. A total waste of money.

Way overpriced for a super basic cake. I thought it would have a berry layer inside, but there's just a layer of the super sweet frosting same as the outside. It seems like they mixed a few blackberries into vanilla frosting. The Chantilly Berry Cake is much better in my opinion.
