this cake makes the word decadent obsolete. I have had an aversion to cake, most of my life. This cake 🍰 however😴 has changed my mind. It is moist to the point,that you can cut an impressive slice of cake It holds it's shape, and stands up without tipping over. I MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE THAN RECOMMEND THIS CAKE STORE BOUGHT CAKES ARE USUALLY QUITE DRY AND CRUMBLY. THIS CAKE DEFINITELY STANDS ALONE AS THE 1 CAKE TO PURCHASE 🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍

This was a nice looking cake and very rich tasting. Almost too rich for us, but the main problem was how dry the actual cake was. We are going to try another piece and put some cool whip on it?? Maybe that will help with the rich taste and the dryness? We'll see.

Lovely cake! The packing was perfect. No sprinkles thannkfully. The icing was delicious and the cake was spectacular! It was moist and just the right amount of sweet. I wish the price was a little lower — but it was worth it for a birthday cake. I definitely recommend!

I gets one of these or two of these each month because I don't have a stove to make my own and they've always been consistent with flavor, texture and freshness. I've never gotten stale icing or any any form of staleness from any of these and I've at this point probably about 40 to 50 of them. I buy one once a month sometimes 2 as long as they continue to be fresh, I'll keep purchasing now the little 5 inch one yeah though those never hold up very well. Stick with this one if you want a good rich chocolate cake the little five dollar one is not worth it doesn't taste anywhere as creamy or rich.

The icing on this cake reminds me of the frosting my mother made from scratch . It gives the cake for a remarkably favor not soon ever forgotten. Though a bit pricey I purchase this cake for special occasions and for those moments when I shouldn't have it . Smiling 😊

Ohhhhh Yeah! I can't deny this one. If you are a chocolate-tasting fan. This is the one. I did not wait to cut a slice. I took the top of and bit into the cake. That's right, no napkin reservation. This is excellent for anytime, breakfast, lunch, dinner, cheat diet day, because I'm still breathing day. Get It Now! Tip: Let it get room temperature or microwave a little, don't overdo it, as the cake will be cold when you get it. Add milk or a Coke Cola, Mortal Kombat or XMen Done Friday Night HEAVEN...

Meh. This was a replacement for the 5” that wasn't in stock. It's a totally different product. The 5” is a soft moist single layer. I've bought it many times. This is a dense double layer that tastes completely different. It actually has a from the box cake mix slightly over baked. It's somewhat dry, not really moist %26 has an extra 1/4” stiff icing around the entire cake. The icing is stiff, unlike the 5”. If you're a kid who likes too much icing on your cake, you'll like it

Typical American cake: corn instead of sugar, over sweet, tastes like plastic. It should be be called a "cake substitution". Hershey's is the worst chocolate company, again, can't even call that chocolate as it has nothing to do with real thing. Very shameful honestly

Hershey Chocolate definitely wins here. Flavor is terrific and it's the right combination of sweet and a tad salty. The texture and consistency is good when you purchase early and it hasn't been in the display too long, then it does get a bit dry. I've found that it does keep well in the refrigerator so you don't need to worry about ruining your diet by finishing the cake as quickly as possible.

The cake looked delicious, but there was too much frosting and sadly the cake was delivered to us on it's final sell by date, so the cake itself was very dry. Still, even if it had been fresher, the frosting ratio would have still overpowered the cake flavor. This cake deserves a hard pass.
