Freshness Guaranteed 8-Inch Baked Lemon Meringue Pie, 24 oz

The weather is warm and summery here in S Louisiana, which means that it is time for summery desserts as well. I purchased the 8" Lemon Meringue pie while on a quick drop in a Walmart, and I'm glad I did. The meringue is light and fluffy, and the lemon portion has just the right amount of tartness. The pie was found on a bakery display table, so it does not need refrigeration. I did chill the pie before serving because I wanted the "lemon icebox cake" feel. Chilling made it easier to slice, but isn't required. Perfect dessert to pick up if you don't have time to bake a treat.

I love Lemon Meringue Pie! I bought this pie for my friends coming over to visit and myself! It looked wonderful at the store plus I hadn't had any for quite sometime and had a taste for it. When my friends arrived, I didn't know but they all loved Lemon Meringue Pie! When everyone was gone, so was that delicious Pie! I will buy another, the lemon was refreshing! Thank you!

This pie is always spot on. Not too tart, not too sweet. The meringue is high and perfect. Large enough to serve several guests and looks lovely in a decorative pie plate. As good as my grandma's!

The pie came upside down, and all smash inside the box. Next time the delivery person should look at those things We appreciated the driver and have nothing against him/her Would like a replacement, please Thank you so much

My mom would make me a lemon meringue pie every time I visited her and when I have this it brings back memories. Though hers was better. This is pretty good.

Purchased this for a birthday celebration and it was many guests favorite dessert. Tastes much better refrigerated despite not being chilled at the store. It is a great combination with a standard lemon pie filling and merengue layered on top. Would recommend for any gathering especially in spring or summer.

We were excited to grab this pie at the store. We love different meringue pies! The meringue was fluffy with sweetness and the best part. The lemon was a thin layer and I wish it was thicker for more balance. It was a little too sour for my liking but it paired well with the meringue. The crust was flaky but a little bland. Overall it's an okay pie when you're in a hurry and need something fast!

Lemon meringue pie is my favorite! This was a good one! The inside filling was more creamy than just the normal lemon pie filling. It almost had a taste between lemon and key lime pie. The crust was flaky and perfect! 🤩 The meringue was a little more creamy than I am used to, but tasted great once you got past the texture.

The lemon merengue pie looked so yummy with the torched and browned top. The pies appearance was mouth watering with every slice cut into it. The lemon was sweet and tart as expected, but had a bit more of a gelatin texture. The merengue wore solid rather than light and fluffy the crust was buttery. The lie was no where near a fresh baked homemade pie, it was ok to have in a time crunch.

There is one thing I've learned about Walmart ready made food, it can be a hit or a miss. This pie was a miss. I have purchased quite a few lemon meringue pies in my life and this pie was a few grades under grocery store quality. This is not the pie that is so good that I return to the refrigerator with a fork, and stand there with the door open not bothering to find a plate. This is the pie that goes to the trash can. Not because it is completely unedible, but because it is simply not worth the calories. This pie was too artificial, not fluffy. Too many stabalizers. Sure, if you have never had a lemon meringue pie before you may think this is good.
