Freshness Guaranteed Amish Macaroni Salad, Ready to Serve, 16 oz Small Tub (Refrigerated)

I like this salad overall. I often add chopped onion and green pepper for extra flavor. Good product. The macaroni is al dente which I like. Package quantity is a good amount. Sometimes the packages are skimpy but this is a full pound so will serve a whole family. It is not so sweet as some salads which I prefer.

Taste is good. texture is slightly limp but still has some crunch. Flavor is quite good. Has barely sufficient liquid but is not really needed. FLAVOR: I LIKE KFC SLAW MUCH BETTER. the flavor is quite good for the money. Cabbage slaw: not quite crunchy as i desired but Flavor is in seasoned lightly.

There is a sweetness that is very nice. It tastes good with chicken and ham as a sidedish,great for a when you don't have much time to spare or just don't feel like cooking an in a hurry meal.Try it one time to see ,you'll be glad you did.

I have enjoyed this product for approximately 20 years. Lately, it is not as good as it has been. The taste is not as pleasant and the texture is too firm. I know that it's firm so that it doesn't get mushy however, lately, it's like the posture is not completely cooked.

My goodness what has happened to my favorite Amish Macaroni Salad? It has all the correct and delicious flavor it always has had but Walmart either can't cook noodles anymore or perhaps used the cheapest they could find. Everything but the noodles is great, unfortunately the noodles are stiff and hard as if they were half cooked. I tossed one container away a couple weeks ago and chalked things up to just a mistake but couple weeks later I purchased the same size container to see if the bad batch was just a mistake but this container is the same with hard noodles like paste and very no juicy dressing. I think the noodles are so dry the bottom ones are soaking up what ever juice from the dressing was in the container. I'm done, won't buy any now for a very long time and pray they change back to softer cooked noodles.

The flavor is good, I was so disappointed because the thick, rubbery macaroni ruined it for me. The texture was like what I imagine silly putty would be, I guess it is supposed to be al dente but good lord.... how long would you have to chew it!?! I love the Amish sweet and sour sauce they use on the rubber pasta though....

I never leave reviews like EVER, but I had to for this to hopefully save someone the waste of money. It tastes like someone dumped a pound of cheap sugar in it and stirred it into the macaroni salad. Most disgusting thing Ive tasted in a very long time. I gagged.

It seems every time I purchase one of these macaroni salad or potato salad packaged this way, the film sheet that covers the food has been opened. The packaging needs to change!!! This is a safety issue for consumers. People can tamper easily with this packaging. Please change the packaging. Not to mention the time and energy spent taking it back to the store for a refund. At the very least, ask Walmart shoppers (for delivery) to check to ensure that the packaging has not been tampered with, please!!!

I ordered this per delivery/ delivery order was fast/polite etc -,I opened this macaroni salad and took one bite and had to spit it out/ macaroni pasta was hard and there was a distinct bitter and somewhat metallic taste/ I've ordered this in the past and found it decent but this tasted like something was wrong with it/ it was also dry , which is not what it's supposed to be / I mentioned this earlier today to a family member who has bought this exact item before and she claims she no longer buys it because she said it “tasted funny” - on more than one occasion-,will never buy again and do not recommend this item

i ordered cole slaw. Even had a larger size as substitute. Instead got macaroni salad. Imagine my shock when i was putting my Thanksgiving meal on the table and wanting cole slaw to complement my meal and have macaroni salad instead.
