They’re good apple fritters I did notice a huge difference from a year ago. They’re not as thick as they used to be. They have less apple to size ratio and the cinnamon taste is very very slight so cutting back on the ingredients for the price that makes no sense.
I love apple fritters and the 1 time they were listed online at my store I ordered some. But ever since then I do searches in bakery and they don’t show up. One of those times when I couldn’t find them listed online I made my order and they asked if it was OK to substitute apple fritters for the almond bear claws I ordered! I approved that in a second, then checked online to see if I could find them listed but I didn’t. I love the fritters but what’s up with them not showing up in my bakery search?
I considered posting a 1-star review, so people would think these are terrible, and no one orders/purchases them. That way I’m never put into a position, where I order them, but they’re sold out and I can’t get them delivered. So, let’s just make the title read like these stink!!! 😊😁
On delivery day they are fresh and tasty and has actual apple pieces in it (it's an APPLE fritter so the apple pieces are expected and tasty). With just me eating them I eat two for breakfast with my coffee. By second (and third) day the topping becomes a bit gooey but the apple fritter itself is still soft and tasty. The glaze gets very sticky and kind of melty due to the sugar glaze sucking up moisture . Almost every time I place an order I get these apple fritters.
These are the BEST apple fritters, bar none! Amazing as it may seem they are better than any donut shop or bakery --- and Walmart actually has one of the best "everyday" bakeries around with great usual --- not fancy --- products. These appl fritters ae a breakfast favorite and are equally popular later as snacks. Try the Walmart bakery section --- you won't be disappointed.
Apple fritters are a treat we indulge in from time to time. These are nice and crispy outside with tasty apple all throughout. These are a bit smaller than what we get from a nearby bakery, but much more affordable and just as tasty as the one's costing $4 each. Having six in a box is a good deal since they are so good you will want another one. Warm one up, pair it with a hot cup of coffee and start the day with a happy smile.
Marquette MI. Tend to be dense and hard, lacking moisture and yeast. Hockey puck likeness. Sugar icing same as on donuts. Glazed dough is the same now too. ..dry and need yeast. Minimal apples. Dough not rolled, packed into one brick. Quality has changed from months ago…new staff baker, a pastry newcomer? Pastry people must have good presentation, be creative, and provide tasteful products. Do it…
I did not recommend this product. But if you have many people that are going to consume this in 1 or 2 meals, then buy them! They go stale very quickly. They are very, very sweet and sticky. They are also not a consistent size, some are large, some small, some very oddly shaped.
i was very disappointed in the pastries when received. They were very dry texture and one of the fritters looked like a part of the pastry was missing or broken apart. Put them in ziplock bag but they were still dried out and less glaze than ones i have purchaded before. Disappointed in the product!
Item arrived and smelled like rotten meat Every time I order via Walmart plus and the delivery app I either don’t receive the correct item or they are covered in rotten food smell They seem to deliver the worst and most disgusting food knowing you can’t return it My items were packaged with rotten chicken and I was forced to throw away a huge part of my order Huge waste of money and after spending hours on the phone I still wasn’t refunded Disgusting behavior from Walmart plus delivery Absolutely pathetic that’s paid professional shopper can’t tell when the food is rancid Disgusting
