I really love these donuts. My only problem is with the way I get them when they are delivered: last time I received regular donuts, not filled: today I got crushed donuts with the package split open. It's too bad I can't drive anymore or I'd get them myself!
I love these things. However, last order I recieved chocolate cake donuts, which I didn't like. I'm always told that deli never has them. Well, I get lied to, because, they say that they don't have them. Somebody doesn't look good enough for them. Because, I go to the store after my delivery, %26 they did have them. This is right after my delivery. I asked deli if they just got them in. They say no. Please train your shoppers how to shop for them.
I love the taste of the desert. My only problem is that when the person who chooses the groceries, I wish they would pay more attention to the use by date. This was substituted, I had ordered the "2 pack" but it was not available. The 6 pack use by date was the next day after I received them. Needless to say, with just one person living here, some of them go to waste.
These Bavarian Filled Bismark's are one of my absolute Favorite pastries! Any time of day, they are delicious with an espresso. Hit's the spot when there's a craving for sweet decadent pastry. When Individually wrapped, placed in the freezer, then thawed within 7 days, they seem to keep their fresh flavor quite nicely. Once they begin to dry out they appear to show signs of loosing that W O W factor. Even though it's still just a thought, they are probably quite delicious with a spoonful of (extra creamy) Cool Whip on top. Highly recommended!
One of my favorites. These donuts when fresh are the bomb. They could use a little more filling in them I think. Eating half a donut at times before you actually taste the cream inside is kind of a let down for me anyway. Just right amount of chocolate covering a nice soft shell, bet you can't eat just one. Smell is great when fresh, shelf life could use a little improvement. After a day or so they do seem stiffer. Warming them up can make a mess if overheated, just use caution when doing so. Prices has rose even on donuts, why I can't tell you. I can't see some of these prices ask for a dozen, it's unreal for sure. This 6 pack works great, trust me they don't sit to long before they disappear.
Walmart promises guarantee of freshness. however, most of the time they are definitely not fresh. they are dried out. but we love them so much, we put one in the microwave for 10-15 seconds. no longer than that. it warms the donut just enough to soften and gives it that freshness it typically lacks. we would REALLY love it if we could purchase the Paczki Boston cream and Paczki jelly filled donuts. for delivery! Walmart added them to their website but they aren't available, EVER. Walmart, please make the Paczki donuts available to be delivered, wed be thrilled.
These are my very favorite kind of donuts in the world! I love them. Walmart does a great job with them. The chocolate is perfect even though it's kind of thick! Unfortunately about 50% of the time I will get a batch where each and every donut has to be eaten upside down because the minute you bite into it all the filling falls out the bottom. I worked in a bakery years ago, and found that this can happen when the filling machine arm is pushed into the donut too low, or angled down. Then the filling sits at the very bottom of the donut with a very thin layer. When the filling gets that thin layer a little bit soggy, boom, it all falls out the bottom the minute you bite into it. If you remember that, you will fall in love with these donors just like I have because they taste so good and they're nice and soft!
The donuts were just fine, but whoever picked the order put two other items in the bag on top of the donuts so that by the time it was transferred to my vehicle and then my kitchen, the top of the donut box was squashed down on top of the chocolate frosting which then became stuck all over to the box top. It was a huge mess.
The wholesale company making Walmarts baked goods has cut the thickness of the donuts, now under 2in thick, almost flat. Filling has been reduced to a HALF OUNCE, literally almost nonexistent and replaced Bavarian cream with a bad tasting watery vanilla custard. Will never buy Walmart baked goods again.
It was a home delivery. Who ever shopped my order did not check dates, the best by date had passed. Who wants 4 day old donuts? Stale Worst Walmart wants me to return to store or they pick up tomorrow, but I will not be home and leaving in hallways is not allowed in my condo. I only get home delivery which I pay for due to being disabled . I have not been in any store since COVID and my disability All purchases are home delivery So my loss
