It's very good carrot cake, not as good as Moms of course, but still very good. I live alone, so it's the perfect size for me. I get three servings out of it.
This carrot cake was super moist and tasty. The cream cheese frosting was delicious and not too sweet.. I would’ve liked the frosting layer a little thicker.. I was surprised how large the piece size was for the price.. It was better then some restaurants where your paying 8$ for a slice that is half the size.
I LOVE carrot cake. I bought this cake and kept it in the fridge ( because that's where it was kept in the store). Took it out of my fridge, took a bite and was disappointed- it didn't have much flavor. I forgot to put it back in the fridge, came back hours later when it room temperature and took another bite ( just to be sure I really didn't like it lol ) and boom! There was all the flavor. It was delish! So if you get it, eat it at room temp and you won't be sorry.
These are a wonderful item I have no complaints except the person bagging them doesn't concern them selves about placing them in the bag right side up so when I get them home I discovered that the frosting was stuck to the top of the container. Not always.
🏵️ I have had this particular cake many times and every single time it's flavorful and moist, like a cake should be! The cream cheese frosting is wonderful also! Not too sweet or overpowering like some CC frostings can be. It matches very well with the carrot cake, so all flavors blend nicely. ☺️
This is better quality than I remember from a year or so ago. The frosting is VERY good. Even the little "carrot" is soft and tasty. The cake is pretty good, too, but still needs some improvement in flavor, density and moistness. However, all this might depend on when it was made in relation to when you eat it!
I agree with a few other comments that this is more a spice cake than a carrot cake. Should have some shredded carrot pieces in it? okay for an all spice cake tho.
The single serving carrot cakes used to be so delicious moist flavorful delicious. Keywords “ used to be” The single serve slice of carrot cake I purchased recently was awful, horribly dry . I took only one bite and threw it into the garbage. I was so disappointed, because I was really looking forward to that treat, and they used to be so delicious.
I ate the piece of carrot cake the day I ordered it. It was so dry and tasteless, it was barely edible. The icing was good, but that's all it had going for it. If there were carrots or pineapple in it, as the ingredient list says, I surely don't know where because there was no evidence of that. I think if they had truly been in the cake, it would not have been possible for it to be so dry and crumbly, and flavorless. Will not buy again and really don't recommend.
Utter garbage, the shorting used in the icing leaves a horrible aftertaste, and the fake cream cheese icing was is barely palatable. Basically there is no cream cheese in the icing. Evidence of carrot in the carrot cake was scant, and meager. Four adults felt the cake with disgusting, so we few what was let for our dog and even they would not touch the cake, it is just some nasty, cheap garbage that shoudl be avoided at all costs.
