Excellent cinnamon flavor, but the box allows them to dry out too fast. Unless you and your family and friend are going to consume these the same day you open the package, you'll throw what's left away on day three because they dry out quickly. Microwaving them helps, but the icing melts away. Perhaps f I put these in an airtight container, they will stay soft longer. I'll try that next time.

Disgusting. Threw Them Out.

christopher April 30, 2026

These were just inedible. The "roll" was like a very stale dinner role and no cinnamon at all. They were hard and almost crunchy. Very stale. The "frosting" if you even dare call it that was absolutely disgusting and inedible. It resembled plastic. The whole thing is placed on a cardboard sheet. the rolls are near impossible to get off that sheet. After a couple bites I just felt ill and threw the rest away.

Icing Covered Bread

Hangry May 19, 2026

If there's any cinnamon baked in, I can't tell. It's soft when heated, but just generically sweet. If you're eating stuff that's terrible for you, at least make it taste good, but this doesn't even do that. The biggest compliment I can give this product is that it's edible.

Awful! Walmart, step up your bakery game. It SUCKS

MJ May 25, 2026

Horrible! Like cardboard!!! Ugh! And not very tasty. We forced ourselves to eat two or three and then threw the rest of them away. They were that bad. Stiff as boards and the icing wasn't even very good. Kind of hard to screw up icing, but they did. You are better off buying the bake-yourself refrigerator rolls and they're not much, but better than these hockey pucks.

Old, dry, stale consistency.

LKnight May 30, 2026

Despite being 4 days from expiration date, crumbly, dry and stale dough. It was so had that it broke my plastic spoon when trying to pierce it with the ability to pick up a piece. Nothing extreme. The taste was old and disgusting. As if someone had left the lid off the clam shell package for a very long time before putting it back on and selling it. There was no way to tell if it had been tampered with. As there was no security seal on the packaging. No matter how cheap it is. Don't buy it for any reason. Not worth taking your joy away.

no substitute 🤢

ny June 17, 2026

this it's just nasty dry the frosting I don't even know what that is that's just nasty like a piece of plastic that's gooey they substituted this instead of the market side ones and I'm so mad that I didn't even realize that they have the things to substitute because I never get these I don't like how they look and now I got em eww never again

It was a substitution,, I'll say that first. I would not of picked this for my selection. They are dry and with icing. Market side cinnamon rolls are much better with cream cheese frosting, never dried out, always the fresher choice. These cinnamon rolls are a huge disappointment.

NOT GOOD!

Kelly May 29, 2026

Not worth the money! Not enough cinnamon, very dry! Go to Aldi and buy their cinnamon rolls! Aldi's cinnamon rolls are the very best I've had in a long time! Walmart cinnamon rolls are expensive and they really shouldn't even be called cinnamon rolls. I even added extra cinnamon sugar, but they are do not have enough icing and they are very dry.

Slime for Icing. Great for Kids??

anonymous June 26, 2026

I don't know what is weirder: that Walmart has apparently sold these for years, or that there are people out there who buy them on purpose. The cinnamon roll itself is dry and bready, but you can at least taste the cinnamon, and frankly, the roll is the best part. The icing, though. It's surely not meant to be ingested. Made of what I can only describe as congealed slime, it sits atop the rolls in a sheet that you can peel off - and it wiggles. Wiggles. It tastes slightly sweet but is otherwise bland. The worst part might be that it doesn't dissolve in your mouth like you desperately hope it will. No, it sits in your mouth like the goopy, slimy mucus stuck to your tongue when you wake with a cold. I'm not sure who buys these so regularly that Walmart keeps selling them, but the people who do must have a constitution that will survive the apocalypse. These are a solid NO for me.

stale cinnamon rolls

anonymous July 19, 2026

I assume "Freshness Guaranteed" is for unopened containers. Mine was open in the grocery bag when I received it. I tried one anyway, and yes, it was stale. Normally, everything that I order, and is brought to my house, is in excellent shape. This time, i ended up throwing 2 items in the trash.
