I haven't had these in over 2 years and these are so fresh and the texture of the pastry makes them even better. I had more delivered. I did better this time and didn't eat three in a row.
I like the light dough and crunch to it. I love it with my coffee. The filling is also amazing, creamy and not sickening sweet. Very light dessert and addicting.
I love these cream horns but the ones delivered yesterday are stale and several were broken apart inside pkg. I checked the expiration date which shows tomorrow. These should have been marked down to the tray where they put not fresh items.
They were Stale, took one bite and had to throw them away. I have ordered from Walmart for years, and this was the first time I’ve ever had a problem.
The shells were hard and stale. The cream inside was a fake, super sweet white substance. These used to be really good but now are awful. I tried to eat two then threw them out.
These are always hard. Why are they never fresh? I give up. Wasted money. I always eat these because I don’t want to waste but always feel bad afterwards because it’s much worse than day old donuts and I’ve consumed all that fat and sugar and didn’t enjoy it. Shame.
I have ordered 1 or 2 packages of these for the last year. I don’t know what they’ve changed but they’re no longer good, at all! They are like eating a piece of very stale bread with a dab of whipped cream inside. So disappointing. Wish they’d change them back. Until they do, I won’t be ordering them. A big part of the last several I’ve ordered went in the trash.
Filled with icing that is sickeningly sweet! The outside is soft and chewy, not crispy, like it should be. There really is no taste, and is definitely not worth the calories! I should have returned them, after I received my delivery order, and realized that the expiration was for the end of July., and we purchased in the middle of June! Full of chemicals and preservatives! We still have 4 left, that will be thrown away.
These used to be my favorite treat from Wal-Mart and either they have changed the recipe for the filling, or the person that made them didn't know what they were doing. The creme filling had no taste at all, and was very greasy. So greasy that it left a yucky coating in my mouth like I had just eaten a spoonful of lard. Ate half of 1 and tried a bite of another to make sure it wasn't just the 1, and the rest will go in the trash. They are that gross!
These were awful. The inside is not cream…it’s an awful, too sweet, greasy icing. The outer shell was so dry and hard it crumbled apart on the floor. I threw them in the garbage.
