I usually don't mind making my own crostini but for some reason I was feeling lazy so I decided to give this a try. I'm glad a did. This went well with spinach dip as well as bruschetta.
I was having a big party; LOT TO DO. Asked my child to help with the Bruschettas (essentially crostinis with topping of fresh mozzarella pearls, basil slivers, grape tomatoes, olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette, SUPER YUMMY) and told her, she can either do it from scratch (always best), OR to ease a bit of the stress and go for at least a portion of the tasks already done. This was not a disappointment. These Crostinis were perfectly crunchy, with perfect portion sizes/slices for our bruschettas, and they ended up easing a LOT of stress that day. We were busier than expected on our big party day.
We LOVE this Garlic Crostini! It is consistently good, and we actually got it by accident the first time when it was substituted for the plain crostini we ordered. Happy about that substitution! We use it with lunch meat and cheese for a snack, avocado and tomato, eggs on top for breakfast and of course dips. Yum!
These are so good! They are sometimes even out of stock, too! We put spagetti sauce (always on hand) and mozzarella shreds on them and my husband and I are like little kids again. Never an overbearing garlic flavor, either. I think I'll get them now as a matter of fact (if they're in stock).
I have no idea how long Walmart has had these in the bakery section, but once I ordered them they became a standard item in my pantry. Great addition with crackers for snacks or charcuterie board, I love them to use with hot spinach, artichoke dip, Their shelf life is extensive if kept air tight. They are economically priced and you will be surprised at the size of the bag.
Was skeptical to buy based on reviews, but happy we took the chance %26 they enjoyed by everyone. There were no broken slices, good amount of seasoning %26 had a nice crunch. My only complaint was the date should've been fresher, so we had to consume quite quickly.
We have ordered this a few times. Some good, some didn't have hardly any flavorings on it. It supposed to have garlic and spices .Maybe once did it have enough on it to taste. This week I ordered it and it looked pretty good for flavorings, but it was STALE!!! REALLY STALE!!! It needed some flavor but was extremely STALE!! Sorry.....
It seems like they sent regular crustinis. Barely any garlic. Not toasted. I was eating old bread with no flavor. Had to buy another bag, this one has some crunch to it but again, barely any seasoning. I love the crustinis but I will have to stop buying them. super disappointed.
Not baked long enough. The "crunch" was very lacking. Way too much salt. It overpowered everything, and after two bites, I gave up. I am not on a low sodium diet or anything, so it's not like my taste buds just aren't used to salt, so this is just excessive. I won't purchase this again.
I normally order this product often, but the last 2 times I ordered them they were burnt beyond belief! I ended up throwing them away. I haven't ordered them since. The other problem is it's very hit or miss if they're even in stock. It's ridiculous and frustrating.
