This was my first time ever trying a crueller and had been craving one since I had seen them on a tv show. When I discovered that Walmart carried them I had to try them. First thing I checked before ordering was the ingredients since I wanted to make sure they didn't have any cinnamon or spice. They were as delicious as I thought they would be, stayed fresh for a few days. I really enjoyed them and will buy again on my next grocery delivery for sure!!!
Great price for absolutely delicious crullers that are just the right texture with just the right amount of vanilla icing. The half-dozen box is perfect for three or four days worth of breakfast treats. And they are still good even if they are a day or two past the guaranteed-fresh date. These are available just about all of the time, and I put them in my weekly home delivery order. Walmart remains amazing!!!
These French crullers are perfectly made . They taste exactly like the ones I ate growing up. The insides are very moist like they sre supposed to be. The only negative would be there could be a little less frosting on them.
As the top reviewer stated, if you get these on day one they are magical. Very strange for me to say that about anything in the Walmart bakery section but yes, they are excellent fresh. Light and airy with a great texture.
If you like your crullers light, fluffy, and sweet, these are for you! They practically melt in your mouth. Word to the wise--they are *messy* and sticky. I appreciate that unlike most deli-type donuts, they don't contain artificial dyes. They do contain preservatives and, of course, a high number of calories (around 350 per cruller). Great for a special breakfast, but be sure to provide forks. :)
i ordered a dozen sugar donuts and this was the replacement. would have rather not had a replacement, 4.24 isn't much but that could have been used for something else rather than receiving a product i didn't care for.
I bought two times. First time really fresh and because I never had any doughnut like that before it was sweet and texture quite different. Only had one decided to buy another box a few days later that were not freshly baked realized quickly I do not like
I be these but you are never going to get fresh ones. They always send donuts that are a day or 2 old . I don't waste my time buying them anymore in delivery.
Just once I've gotten these fresh. The rest of the time they're stale. Can we stop throwing items in our orders that have the same expiration date as the day delivered?
The last time I bought these they were fresh. This current purchase is dry and old. I was hoping for a tasty treat. Maybe Sunday is a bad day to buy these. Crullers must be fresh to be worth the calories.
