It's hard to find rolls that taste good. These rolls were purchased to make chicken cheeks steaks. I don't eat beef. I fell in love with them. However, I'd like to know the calorie count, what the content of these are. I'd like to know more about them than just that they're steak rolls.
This are the best rolls ever! I love them! They are just the right size for a sandwich or to eat for breakfast. They freeze well too. Best part is that they are only 100 calories per roll, so you can't beat that. The Walmart bakeries should make more, because they are always running out.
Our family loves these steak rolls for mini Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. When this bread is warm it becomes slightly chewy and wraps itself beautifully around the ingredients inside. We've made cold sandwiches with these rolls too but prefer them warm.
I liked everything about this bun it's now my go to bun for everything I use.. even Burgers.. cut the burger in half you get two burgers out of one patty .. just try them .. you'll see what I am saying... also the larger regular sub bun is made of the same dough .. and is just as good ..
personally I have not eaten any but my daughter's father had and he loves him with coffee you get off of using for lots of other things that are state roads you give me Philly steaks and put in them personally I I haven't so I don't say much about it but I go in and recommended and I give it a thumbs up
These are great for leftover meat sandwiches. I make turkey and pork loin sandwiches, toss these in the wide slice toaster (cut in half) for a couple minutes to toast them a little bit. Be sure to put these right in the fridge they will get moldy fast if you don't. It's a rather big bulky bag so make sure you have room for them. I haven't tried freezing these yet but I have no doubt they would freeze well.
Great flavor and nice size roll. However it's full of aluminum, controversial ingredients including gums. Usually not fresh, the bags are thin and always full of holes resulting in dried out rolls as well more expensive than other rolls. But then all walmart breads are in super thin bags that tear easily ruining the products.
Order 2 ciabatta rolls, only had one in stock l text fine I'll take the one. They send me French steak rolls 24 that a lot for me . And then my lettuce was getting brown, I paid 2.50 for it it's only myself the head last me a week so already getting spoiled
Don't know why I haven't learned NOT to.order these anymore. The last couple of times I've ordered 24 French small steak rolls the expiration date is one day away, they don't feel fresh and they taste stale. This is the last time. I've learned my lesson.
Product was great, but system is terrible. There is no way to go in to store to pick up the order or communicate with bakery. I wanted today's bake of 100 buns. My order was yesterday's bake and shorted 25 buns! Not acceptable for a luncheon of 100 guests. I checked with bakery staff a week in advance to make sure I could get the buns but told I had to order online. Your system for bakery orders is terrible. Maureen Brealey
