These are my FAVE prepared mashed potatoes! They taste better than Bob Evans or the Marketside brand. They even have a few small lumps, perfect! All I have to do is reheat a tad. I live alone so buying one or 2 small containers is perfect for me. The only thing I'd add to improve them is a way to tell the prepper, “No gravy!” I do my own cream gravy and theirs is not near enough gravy for me. I just scrape theirs off, not difficult but messy.
There is no better way to describe this other than what you had at home as a kid. Super delicious with a texture and flavor that is outstanding. A perfect addition to most every meal and arrives warm and ready. I would have this two times a day seven days a week, it's that good!
These mashed potatoes are delicious! I expected them to taste like boxed, dried, mashed potatoes, but they are made from actual, fresh potatoes. They have q taste of black pepper, which I love! I will definitely buy them again, but I'm going to buy the larger, 16 oz. size. The 5 oz. size is not enough to fill me up.
Very good taste Wish For the family size must eat every day too gain more weight due to illnesses Hope WALMART Would Put All Deli Grab %26 Go Chicken wings tenders sandwiches Mashed Potatoes back on the Delivery List To ASSIST THE DISABLE Peoples it helps us to eat when we can't Hopefully
I ordered fried Chicken from Walmart and I bought these just on a whim. I cannot believe how good they are they're warm when they come to your house I am a mashed potato fiend and these are so good I crave them every time I eat chicken. they are so worth the price I usually buy about four at a time. I recommend them to anybody that loves mashed potatoes I just wish they came also with a gravy
This was my first time ordering mashed potatoes for home delivery. They're pretty good. They are thick, and they may have a bit of white gravy on them. I'm not sure about this. But they arrived warm (I did reheat for a minute in the microwave). But the flavor was good and I'd order again.
Incompetent store - My complex is replacing my stove so instead of ordering fast food, I ordered some prepared goods from Walmart since I was doing an order anyway. No where in the title or selection did it say to add gravy, which I am not a fan of anyway, so when I received both sides of mashed potatoes covered in gravy I was disappointed. I cannot stand the smell or texture so now both sides are gone to waste. The mashed potatoes, which I dont eat often because i make my own, have usually been up to par, this was a very big let down.
The only redeeming quality for this, like the rest of their “hot and ready” food, was the price, so I didn't feel bad throwing it away. My husband and I literally took 1 small bite each, felt the tiny kernels of potato and the weird flavor, and chucked it.
Came topped with a bunch of white gravy, which is not advertised nor mentioned anywhere. I already don't like gravy, but this stuff was just vile. The food was still pretty warm but the gravy was solidified as if it was cold?? Sludgy grossness. It's also like 35% gravy and 65% potato in an oversized container (that still leaked!) that had me thinking there was way more food in there than there was. Still reasonable for $1! But man, just tell me there's gravy or let it be an add-on instead. Hugely disappointing. I was really craving mashed potatoes :(
It is obvious the pan these were prepared in had not been properly cleaned and rinsed. The taste and smell of dish soap ruined these. Horrible. Disgusting.. had to rinse my mouth out after tasting these. I wish I got a refund. Instead threw them away.
