Freshness Guaranteed Fresh Sliced Sourdough Sandwich Bread, 24 oz Loaf

I nous only buy sourdough bread so I've been trying different brands to see which ones I like best and this one is definitely one of my favorites! It's fresh and lasts much longer than most other brands that get moldy so fast even though they are stores in the fridge. This one lasted 3 weeks no mold and still tasted really fresh. I eat it with avocado as toast and it was perfect as they are big enough to use 2 toasts for 1 avocado. Great taste and decently priced.

I was skeptical but it really is a nice mild sourdough bread. And like another reviewer said, I also just need 1 slice to make 1 sandwich. And I was surprised, it actually lasted a week! Whenever I want toast for breakfast, I usually have 2 slices, so cut this in half for that too. It toasts nicely, as well.

We’ve purchased this sourdough for years it’s been our favorite go to. However starting the last month or two it’s completely lost the “sour” aspect and even the texture has changed a little. At first we thought maybe an Italian loaf got mispackaged but we’ve continued to purchase it and it’s no longer sour or the right texture sadly. We keep purchasing just in hopes that maybe the recipe will go back to how it was. Please change it back!

I don’t know how Walmart gets away with calling this sourdough. It absolutely is not. Is it shaped like a sourdough loaf? Sure. But it is just your most basic white sandwich bread loaf. No sourdough taste or consistency at all. It’s cheap and it makes a decent sandwich but wasn’t what I was expecting or looking for!

This doesn’t remotely resemble sourdough bread. It looks like a basic wonder bread and as my friend said it doesn’t even have the porosity of a sourdough bread and its size is about 50% smaller than the regular sourdough brand rusted that I usually get and it’s $1.50 more and the rustic brand is GMO.

This bread used to be amazing. Been ordering it for years. It had a nice rustic texture and tang of sourdough. Last few orders have not resembled sourdough in texture or taste and is basically white bread at the price of sourdough. Something has changed for the worse. I thought maybe it was just a fluke but apparently not. Will try again in the future. Hopefully they change it back to actual sourdough. Insult to injury they just increased the price on it too.

Any great value bread I have purchased that says "sourdough" does NOT have any fermentation in the bread, so that means it is NOT sourdough..fake. Francisco Extra Sourdough Bread, 24 oz, Plain Pre-sliced Sourdough Bread, Bag DOES have fermentation in the list of ingredients.

Be very very cautious when buying this. Used to be great. However, of the last 5 purchases, 2 have not been sourdough, they were just plain white bread. Someone is putting the wrong bread in the sourdough bags.

I received 2 loaves of your sourdough bread as a substitute for the item I had ordered.......THEY ARE ABSENT OF "ANY" SOURDOUGH TASTE AND THEY'RE STALE!!!! I GUESS I'LL BE EATING A LOT OF TOAST BECAUSE THEY'RE TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO STALE FOR SANDWICHES!!! WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT😡

BREAD was delivered One day before expiration date. Dry and moldy on august 8th. bad business making elderly handicapped people find a ride or take a bus to return old outdated food because they let their delivery people deliver old food. Can't get a refund without bringing it to the store. We order delivery because we can't drive and now we have to hire someone to take it back for us? That is horrible.
