I love this veggie try! I buy this tray frequently, for a homeschool co-op I own, and the kids always enjoy it. Having so many Autistic kids involved- it's hard to find things that are safe foods and that they all enjoy. It has the perfect array of veggie, and is one of their favorite parts of lunch every time- which, of course as a parent, I love for them!
i like the crunch, crispness, delicious snacks that these are. i don't just snack on them they are great for a roast or side dish for chicken dinner or in stews/soups and the dip can be used on crackers as well as the veggies and dip can be used in salads. many ways to enjoy 😁
Major hit at a 4th of July party. This platter was attacked by kids and adults. nothing went to waste. the ranch dressing includes was also really good. I bought a separate dipping ranch in case this one was a bust. But nope! the rach was tastey. Not thick, but good. I will definitely buy this again
The broccoli was inedible ...like dry, tough tasteless shrubs. i never eat celery so its useless . The tomatoes were good , the carrots, ( too many,) were passable and the sweer peas in the pod wete good. i did like the dressing..would love to have the recipe fot it, because while it is Ranch , it was much thicker and tastier than HV ranch ot GV ranch. Wish when purchasing one of these trays I could select my own raw veggies and have a bit larger tray of the dressing .
I can only recommend this product if you yourself are the one physically going and getting it. I've always bought these for my girl's parties and they're 9/10 times great. I ordered one delivery from store and it looked ok but after opening it was just not good. The carrots were slimy, the celery was dried up and browning. The snap peas were inedible, which I was excited the most for, The only 10/10 was the baby tomato's. It wasn't past expiration date or anything so I'm not sure where it went wrong.
I have bought this tray in the past and it has been excellent but this time whoever picked this try out for me did not look at the products in it. Half the vegetables were good and half the vegetables were spoiled. This was not a very good tray I felt like I was wasting my money And did not realize it till I opened it. This is not make a very good choice or very good for Walmart if you're going to put something out on the shelves, it ought to be good not halfway spoiled.
Carrots (2 mostly full cups!) clean, fresh; celery sticks few, irregular cut, color off but still crispy. Snow peas crisp %26 fresh but cup not full. Most tomatos fresh but 4 -5 soft %26 inedible. broccoli with all stems dark brown at cut edge ‐ color varied from yellow to brown on several florets, about 1/2 ‐ 2/3 were green %26 crispy, 3/4 edible, a few rotten.
Price is too high How many hours does an average person need to work to buy your products? Not wages divided by product. It's wages, minus health insurance which is now HALF OF WAGE BEFORE TAXES! Then it's wages minus taxes, 401k, state %26 fed taxes, minus social security minus Medicare. $12 an hour become $6 after healthcare, $6 becomes $3.90 taxes, $3.08 after 401k. Basically, 3 hours of work to buy this tray! Start realizing what your prices mean!!!!
The last couple times we have ordered this vegetable tray, the carrots are already going bad upon arrival. They are slimy with a white film right when we open it! The broccoli is also borderline. The celery, tomatoes, and snap peas are decent. Would be a great deal if the vegetables were all fresh.
The carrots were actually covered in slime! I threw them out along with those green pod things. The broccoli was okay. The ranch dressing was a bit thin. The packaging was misleading because of the depth of each recess in the tray not really being as deep as it looks to the naked eye. Overall a waste of money.
