Oh... a birthday cake. How lovely. I'm sure it will be perfectly adequate- ah, I see I've made a mistake. Let's begin with the decoration, because clearly this baker woke up and chose excellence. The yellow marble design is effortlessly elegant- clean, refined, and just detailed enough to feel special without trying too hard. The buttercream is so smooth it's almost suspicious, like it simply decided to behave better than every other frosting I've encountered. And then, of course, the taste. How inconveniently delightful. The marble cake itself is beautifully balanced, light yet rich, with that soft, tender crumb that makes you pause mid-bite (which I did, purely for analysis). The buttercream? Silky. Controlled. Not overly sweet, not heavy- just perfectly composed, like it has impeccable manners and knows exactly what it's doing. All in all, I'm reluctantly impressed. This cake is not only visually stunning but genuinely delicious, made with clear skill and care. A true excellent job by the baker. I suppose I'll recommend it... Let them eat cake

Absolutely delicious. I designed my cake online for a retirement party. Perfect! Just as I ordered. Marble cake with butter cream filling, everyone loved it %26 the decoration %26 writing was perfect ! Thank you to my baker %26 decorator for such a beautiful, delicious cake

When I opened the cake I was thrown off by the appearance. It was poorly decorated. The flowers were small looked terrible. I was very unimpressed by them. The handwritten happy 88th birthday was okay, but not spectacular. The piping around the cake looked a bit sloppy as if someone new did it. The flavor of the cake was as expected. It was a little dry. I will go to Jaycee next time. For what I paid for the cake I am very unimpressed.

The decorations %26 the writing on the cake were extremely sloppy and not as advertised. The cake itself was also sooo sweet. Next time I'll go to Costco or HEB because I was pretty embarrassed to have presented this cake, but by the time I picked it up before the event, I didn't have any time to get it fixed.

I was very disappointed in the size and the appearance of the cake. The cakes in the refrigerator case at the store were bigger, looked nicer, and were cheaper than the one that I ordered online. The cake I received was very flat, the cake was dry, and the whipped icing was not fluffy. This cake was for a family birthday and I was very disappointed with it.

I ordered this cake with high hopes, the customization was nice online, but the product was a large disappointment. The cake was to have sprinkles around the boarder, as you can see in the photo, it looks like sprinkles were thrown on in any order and missed some of the boarding and instead was randomly on the cake. The writing is not readable, the writing is also not centered on the cake, and they clearly ran out of space when writing on the 2nd line. This cake should have never been given to the customer. it is unacceptable. The cake also hardened within 20 minutes of cutting it. Overall, a severe disappointment, I would not recommend from a decorative or a taste experience.

Order was wrong. Missing flowers. Order was due at 11 am wasn't ready til after 1145. Called manager once I got it home and she gave me attitude on the phone telling me I was wrong. Offered me refund only if I came back to store but I live over 30 min from location with small children so I was unable to go back. It's not my local Walmart but closest one that does cakes.

I'd have to say ordering a 50th anniversary sheet cake custom ordered and having your personal cake handed off to another customer and how that ever happened is beyond me, but just to get to the point. Completely irresponsible to not check top of cake and make sure you're handing off the right order. This cause lots of stress and multiple panic attacks trying to quickly replace their cake on short notice.

Online ordering system always accepts your order(s) Then a day before your scheduled pick-up, you receive an email from Walmart saying due to technical issues your order was cancelled!! Yes, the day before!!! So for days you believe that your order(s) will be available for your special day then all of a sudden it's cancelled!! The computer system accepts the orders, decorating team isn't able to accept the orders, due to the overwhelming volume!! (Customers are angry because of this!!) Management is aware of this glitch in their online ordering system, but refuses to do anything about it, so customers are the ones suffering!! THIS ISN'T A NEW PROBLEM!! BIG GREEDY WALMART!! ALL ABOUT THE BUSINESS, AND NOT THE CUSTOMERS, WHO MAKE THE BUSINESS!! REMEMBER, NO CUSTOMERS, NO BUSINESSES!! THIS GOES FOR EACH AND EVERY BUSINESS OUT THERE!!

This cake was a full sheet cake for a 40th birthday. It was ordered a month in advance and a friend picked it up from Walmart on the day it was ready. Unfortunately I was not there or I would have demanded a refund! The cake cost was roughly $70.00 and was immediately placed in the trash once I seen what I saw. WALMART SHOULD ABSOLUTELY BE ASHAMED OF TAKING MONEY FOR A PRODUCT LIKE THAT! What a joke!!!
