Great German chocolate cake!
It's a great German chocolate cake very generous portion sizes today. It was even more delicious. I had a greater portion. Thank you Walmart for all the good you do in our community great German chocolate cake.***Walmart making the world better one slice at a time.

Good but not great.
I've eaten better German chocolate cake in restaurants, but I'm recommending it because other people may like it if they've never eaten better elsewhere.

Dry and artificial flavor
The cake was extremely dry, so much so that I was actually choking on it trying to swallow it and it had a very artificial flavor. The icing was OK but it was really thin and, in my opinion, the reason people like German chocolate cake is because of the icing. The icing maybe was an 8th inch thick. I would not buy this cake again ever.

It was evidently frozen and didn't have enough time to thaw completely when I picked it up and the icing was very scarce . You should not be proud of this product. I love German chocolate cake but not this one!!! DO BETTER!🙄

The size of the piece is perfect, but there is barely any icing. The whole point of German chocolate cake is the icing.

Don't take the cake.
The German chocolate looks great in the package. Used by date was tomorrow, but should have been a couple of days earlier as cake tasted stale. My opinion of Walmart baked goods has hit rock bottom.

Not a lot of chocolate flavor, VERY bland. And the icing was thin as well as tasteless. Never will I buy this again. Gross. Good luck to all who will buy it.

VERY SKIMPY on the FROSTING…skip it!
Skip it and make your own. Frosting is what makes German chocolate cake. FROSTING SPREAD SO THIN YOU'D THINK IT WAS MADE OUT OF GOLD! 1/16”. Wont buy again. Safeway is way, way better!!

This cake I s not fresh
Turned upside down in the bag and its very dry ,not moist . States on the container freshness guaranteed. Expires by july 18,2026. Does not have a date it was baked.
