Freshness Guaranteed Half Chocolate & Half Vanilla 1/4 Sheet Cake, 59 oz (Refrigerated)

This ended up being a “special.” They only store them in fridge. You must search for 1/2 chocolate 1/2 vanilla in the same size I ordered- it doesn't come in different sizes and IS NOT displayed in store but MY local store; luckily, had it in stock- surprisingly I was able to get it even though I usually have independent shoppers or store employees to shop for me since I'm bed bound. Every single delivery of my groceries (multiple times a month,) there is always at least 1 item that has to be returned SURPRISINGLY, THEY DIDNT RUIN MY BIRTHDAY CAKE! I've waited more than 9 years to find 1/2 %26 1/2 since my only store is all I have (very very rural area!) This cake is BEYOND the best tasting cake. Both sides were very moist which is rare, as I find that most times, the chocolate cake and other bakery items, chocolate is dry. THIS WAS BAKED PROPERLY AND WAS NOT CLOSE TO BEING DRY! This is a large cake 1/2 full sheet cake feeds quite a lot of ppl! I only had 3 ppl, including myself, and the 2 guests kept coming back each day for more until it was gone! I ADMIT, I DID EAT MAJORITY OF IT, it was THAT PERFECT cake.

My family loves this cake. It is half chocolate and half vanilla giving everyone a choice of flavor. I would love them to make a version of this cake with half chocolate and half yellow. The icing is sweet NOT a light fluff version. We love the abundance of icing for the times that we add a dessert to our week. We indulge with no regrets.

this cake was half chocolate for my chocolate lovers and half white for the ones that do not like chocolate the taste was fresh and the cake moist how ever I still think that Walmart could curve prices a little better since cake mixes are between.99 cents on sale every where up 1.69 and frosting from 1.00 %26 3.49 then a simple whip it up bake time involve in quanties boxes or containers another 3.00 employee already gets paid by employer to display them to sell I feel a 9.99 up 11.00 would be a roll back number bakery ty just my opinion!

Perfection! This cake was perfect for a last minute birthday party. It has plenty of room to ride on with icing, you can add sprinkles, but it doesn't come with any, it's the perfect size for 6 to 8, maybe even 10 people. Just depending on portioning. I bought it for four people, and there was more than enough left over to take with to lunch for a few few days in a row. The icing taste tasted incredible and it wasn't too sweet. Plus the texture was fantastic. We definitely took a chance on this cake, and thanks to other reviewers who were honest, we made the right choice with buying this one. I highly highly recommend it :-) especially for people who love, chocolate cake, but don't discriminate, because honestly, they were both perfectly moist and tasted terrific. (%26 I say that as a chocolate fanatic who literally never wants white cake, lol). You will not regret trying this cake.

this is definitely one of the best cakes that I've ordered from Walmart it's perfect because it's got both chocolate and vanilla cake in one!! worth every penny

I loved that it was half chocolate and half vanilla. It pretty much has something for everyone!! I only wish it came with a whipped cream version. But the birthday girl loved the buttercream anyway!!

I have ordered this cake three times before today, they always made a substitute. This is the first time it was actually delivered. My grandson took a piece as soon as it was here, he liked it.

cake was wonderful. there was more icing than cake and the icing is 💯 disgusting. I will never buy another birthday cake from Walmart. other cakes are good. this has buttercream icing, which is normally my favorite. I was shocked. my son said the exact thing.

It was horrible. The cake itself tasted old, and it was really really dry ( both chocolate and vanilla ). The icing and decorations were okay, but the cake we ( my family ) could not eat it. Most of it was thrown away. Thank goodness we had pies to eat with the cool whip and ice cream.

I always buy the 5" double layer Freshness Guaranteed small cakes, usually in vanilla or chocolate, and love them. So when I saw this half and half cake (half vanilla, half chocolate) I thought I'd try it. Unfortunately it must not be made from the same recipe as the others because it tasted way different. None of us liked it, which is a shame at the price I paid, and I hated to pitch it but I'm still glad I tried it. It made me appreciate the others more now! There's never a crumb left of them!
