Freshness Guaranteed Hawaiian Dinner Rolls, Regular, 16 oz, 12 Count

One would expect dinner rolls of this nature to be very dry, but they're not. They're pleasantly fluffy and easy to eat. The taste has a hint of sweetness but it isn't overwhelming. A very good purchase any time, and they work well with Thanksgiving staples.

These are fantastic! My son is a big lover of King’s Hawaiian rolls and he is incredibly picky but we decided to give these a try as they are much cheaper. He ended up loving them even more! We were all surprised at how big and fluffy they were. Now the King’s rolls seem tiny in comparison. I only wish my delivery drivers would stop smashing them! I’ve gotten smashed bread and rolls my last 3 deliveries.

Well, I saw this recipe short on YouTube that used these rolls to make Boston cream doughnuts with the cream filling and chocolate ganache icing. This 40-year-old guy made them at 10:00 at night and I put them on my Walmart list along with great value instant pudding, and great value whipped topping. I already had the chocolate chips and whipping cream and vanilla. I was done in 10 minutes. So these rolls worked sooooo well! I thought I was eating a bakery doughnut! One step I didn't do was to slather the rolls in melted butter and put them in the oven for about 5 minutes. It's been so hot here, I skipped that oven heat... Ugh!

I’ll admit it, I’m a full-on King’s Hawaiian addict. But let’s be real for a minute… they’ve gotten expensive enough that they’re not exactly an everyday option anymore. So I decided to give these a try. And honestly? I was pleasantly surprised. These rolls are soft, fresh, and have that slightly sweet flavor you want in a Hawaiian-style roll. They’re not just “good for the price”, they’re genuinely good, period. The best part is I can actually justify buying these regularly without feeling like I’m splurging every time we want dinner rolls. These have officially earned a spot as a regular staple in my house.

HAD TO REVIEW! I normally get kings Hawaiian rolls but decided to save some money and get these. The flavor and freshness are beyond superior and I feel like they are also slightly larger. Better quality, better price. Can't beat it!

Omg y'all, These are better then those Hawaiian sweet rolls. I'm not joking. They have been fresh every time I've bought them. They are great to use for sliders!

These are ALMOST as good as the name brand, for a little bit less money. The only problem we have with them is, being diabetic, they run our sugar up a lot just eating a normal meal with 1 roll!! Every diabetic is different %26 each one reacts to different things differently. But, in case you are diabetic, just notice how it affects YOUR blood sugar readings. If it doesn't get crazy, then enjoy a good roll in moderation!

Almost every single time that I have ordered these rolls, the crust falls off the top and crumbles instead of tearing apart. This tells me that Walmart is selling older rolls to online customers. It's disheartening because they used to send fresh rolls, you can taste the difference. And now the Yeast rolls from the bakery, where the Hawaiian rolls come from, are almost worse than the Hawaiian ones. I'm disabled and count on the Walmart shoppers to choose the freshest products for online customers, as if I could pick out products as actually shopping myself.

Most of the time, generic brand items are the same, or maybe even better than, national brands. This is not one of those times. It is soft, but that is about as far as similarities go. The taste is just not there at all compared to Hawaiian Rolls. Also calling them Hawaiian "Enriched" Rolls is an odd label.

Don't let yourself imagine that these will be anything resembling King's Hawaiian, other than their shape. Texture is not good at all and taste is terrible - certainly no sweetness and I don't know how to describe the unpleasant taste except sort of sour and yucky.
