I will just go out and say it, I would rather buy these then go to Raising Cane, or Wingstop, as they are more affordable, they are crispy, and they have a great flavor every single time. These with a side of the Potato wedges, and you have the perfect quick grab and go dinner or lunch for under 20 bucks , throw in a 2 Liter of Coke and you got a complete spread for under 25 dollars. These are never over cooked, and they hold their crispiness and flavor even hours after being bought.
If you're tired after working all week or on a day where you just don't feel like standing at the stove or in a hurry for supper because unexpected company is coming over, honey, grab these chicken tenders from Walmart deli. They are so tender and juicy and each bite spreads deliciously all over your taste buds wanting more. They save you time and help you to relax by just enjoying your meal.
I like the texture, doesn't feel forced or double fried, pieces are tender and none were under cooked. Aroma was good and as should be, not over seasoned. You can always add seasoning you can not take it away, and this is a good example of that. Well done.
When you want something that's filling and quick, it doesn't get any easier. One piece makes a quick enough breakfast. While driving to work or waiting at the bus stop - but I'd take two, just to be safe. Only two issues…. 1) the breading crumbles and falls off super easily %26 it makes a big mess. 2) I get all my groceries delivered and the only way to get this delivered is through the third-party people. The Walmart In-home people will not deliver it. So, when I do want this, it actually costs me more money due to having to make my regular order (in-home, no tip) %26 then making an order for the third party delivery people to bring. Both of which require a $35 minimum order. Walmart corporation needs to change this and start delivering hot foods through in-home OR just remove the $35 minimum order fee for those of us who subscribe to In-home.
We bought this for our family Christmas get together and it was horrible. The chicken was tough. Sam was overcooked and hard. It was almost inedible and fat. A lot of pieces were for the price you would believe they would take more time on it. I ordered chicken tenders from another Walmart a year ago and they were perfect so I don't know if it's the store the great chicken day now use or what but I will not be ordering from the Zebulon store again.
These are my go-to for hot food and flavor is quite good. It is infrequent, however, times when bites are of questionable texture. Only reason I gave 2 stars was due to last delivery. Order was for 16 pieces; only 12 arrived. I have had hot food delivered before without issue, but also paid $5 extra in delivery fees just to have this specific item. When I called WM to request partial refund for 25 percent missing, the rep was unable to process it because there was no option to do so (I also tried online prior to). Instead, he sent me a $5 promo code to offset the missing amount. He was great. WM should have options to account for this.
This is one of those deli foods that must sit all day long under a heat light drying out.. The ends were tough to bite into and I have healthy teeth and it was very dry and chewy.. like a leather belt.. heating them in an air fryer didn't do any good. Neither did the microwave. I fed them to my dogs..
very disappointed, should have asked for refund on this item, when opened deli paper bags to place in warming dish, found they were so crisp which reflected they were not fresh, if warmed would have been drier and the inside would have been tough, i have never placed a review, but I am very disapointed I Spent almost $19.00 on these tenders and they were not tender. this was not a a early delivery, so they s/have been fresh %26 tender.
They arrive cold stale and hard as a rock. And the deli person refuses to make the 8 whole piece bone in fried chicken ...it's the best. Walmart is messing up by not fixing this advertised hot deli food. The roasted whole chicken is the better substitution, and I like choosing my substitutions and not accepting that boneless tasteless crap. Once in two months of orders I might receive the bone in chicken,? Is there a chicken shortage? Or is that lady in deli refusing to fix what the customers want? So hopefully the new year will ring in giving customers what they order, not the cold left overs from the hot deli. Do they just do it to us? Ot is it a county wide practice with delivery. I'm hoping that the chicken is so good, that they can't keep up with it ..and not personal. Thank you Walmart for all the great days of delivery, as a handicapped household it means a lot to us ...to have delivery Happy New Year and may 2026 be a great year for the Walton family
My spark driver brought my food in the correct time frame.. but unfortunately the chicken tenders were so tough you could not break them apart to even try them . They were fried to hard or something. Or set out at the store to long I showed a spark driver
