Freshness Guaranteed Fried Chicken Breast 1 Count Hot and Ready-to-Eat, Refrigerated

I actually have been fortunate twice when ordering this with other delivery items! It wasn't greasy and actually tasted better than other chicken places. The price is even more of a game changer! Again, maybe I just got fortunate.

The deli really has pretty good food, grab your lunch from there or pick up an easy dinner when you are busy! Every time we have gotten chicken it's good and crispy.

Sometimes you order this and it is perfect while other times is is soggy, not hot or even dry. I truly think it is due to how many deliveries the drivers must make stops for other Walmart customers until they get to me. I always order it prior to 11 am so I know it is fresh however delivery can be several hours at time. I still think this chicken is really good especially with Ranch dressing or BBQ sauce. If you pickup in store you know what you are getting vs delivery and having someone else picking it for you. My advice, order this early and have it delivered within a 2 hour window or less, you may pay extra for the faster service however if you have a large order it sometimes pays.

This chicken is very large and meaty. That's the good news. However, the bad news is that it is BLAND. The batter has almost no seasoning(all you needed was some salt and pepper, Walmart), and even worse, the chicken has obviously not been soaked properly in buttermilk. It has very, very little flavor...it just tastes like unseasoned chicken.

personally, i prefer dark meat. i choke on anything dry, especially meat. i regret not catching the substitution this time but was just discharged from the hospital very late last night. i often order a rotisserie chicken to share with my friend but felt like fried today. thought we would have lunch and use remaining white meat for chicken salad sandwiches. it took several hours of fighting with Walmart app technical issues - "try again later" as is often the situation. once i got all items into the order, my major concern was to complete and submit it before there was another problem that would delay receiving ordered items until tomorrow, as frequently happens. Didn't state any substitute items in case anything was not available. Certainly my mistake. I had too many phone calls to deal with to various doctors afterwards. Hoping i don't do that again. i love the Walmart delivery service but ordering process is SO FRUSTRATING and time-consuming! I use this service frequently, but some orders take several days to just complete the ordering part. this app seems to require strong signal. it will state no internet connection over and over again. i spend hours/days staying at blank screens while browsing. I'll make a selection. after picking an item to add or delete, I'll move onto next item. then i am told previous add etc did not work (although maybe it did actually work) so i have to go back and refind that item again to redo. i called customer support a few weeks ago and was told to uninstalll and then reinstall the app.. that does often work for a while but still frustrating. besides that, i really like, depend on, and write often recommend your service. when the app isn't glitchy, it's the best. the people doing this work a are generally great, and your products are almost always top-notchi even talked several hospital employees to join Walmart this week along with meant friends and neighbors. so after all my ranting maybe i should whoop up a little chicken salad, huh? guess I'm a little sore and tired due to my broken hip, surgery, etc. just a wee bit grumpy. sorry about that....

Bought four of these: put two in the freezer immediately so I can't check their status. Ate one for lunch: it was delicious and perfectly prepared. Started to cut up the second and it was raw on the inside! The outside looked perfect, but 1/4 inch deep, it was raw. Photos are revolting, but I'm having trouble uploading them to this site.

Substitution provided. not good. staff have unpleasant attitudes. They do not want to have to warm it up or keep it warm.When the pickup person arrived, they complained about keeping it hot lot, so I had to reheat.

Was really looking forward to having hot fresh chicken upon recieving my grocery order delivered. But imbecile Walmart employee unbeknownst to me, placed deli waxed paper bag with fresh hot chicken in with plastic bag with nothing else but instant oatmeal cups. So after reporting 'not received' on my chicken, 30 hours later I find greasy bag of formally fresh chicken in with my oatmeal cups. Needless to say I was furious. But this IS the Walmart culture/experience. Sniffed now spoiled chicken and grease cooked in smelled old so no loss.

this chicken breast had been cookef so long that the meat was dry, like string %26 pulling away from the rib bones. had to use steak knife ti cut into it. very badly burnt!! there's no way a lion with great teeth would've been able to get into it.

Really disappointed on the chicken. I was counting on the legs for our dinner. Not a fan of breast or thighs. I guess since its the 4th everyone else wanted legs too. ☹️😁
