I didn't know until recently that popcorn chicken was available for delivery. It's nice to have for a quick meal and the price is great, considering I get at least three meals from one container. I was also surprised at how good this product is, I highly recommend it for a snack or a meal.
Wow! Wasn’t sure what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised. Flavor of the breading is delicious. They are not crispy at all, but the texture is nice. I wanted to eat the entire cupful! But I saved some for later. Highly recommend. Will buy again!
'Freshness Guaranteed Hot, Ready-To-Eat Popcorn Chicken' - A These were very good, tasted pretty fresh, not warehouse freezer old (LOL) :) For the price, that was a lot of nuggets!!!!! I could not eat but half, I saved the other half for tonight!!!! (Obviously, I got them yesterday, with Walmart Mac %26 Cheese, ALSO very good!!!!!! I am extremely happy/pleased with my purchase of the 'popcorn chicken'!!!! :) One last note, for a mental image, picture a 12oz cup full of fried okra, you know, for size comparison, or maybe a 12oz cup full of marbles? Whatever, it's a LOT!!!!!!! :)
These things are amazing, very addictive. I love going to Walmart over lunch break. You cannot go anywhere where else and get a full meal and get full for 5 bucks. These things are highly addictive, unfortunately my kids are addicted to them as well. So not only do I have to stop for lunch for myself, I have to return later in the day to pick some up for the kids. For 3 bucks you get more than your moneys worth. I have no idea how they could possibly be making any money off of this.
My local Wal-Mart always has this cooking and it smells so good it makes you realize how hungry you are. It looks good and is fresh and tastes good. I brought some home and shared it with my family and they all liked it great for a quick snack or meal as I will buy it again
Every time I buy chicken prepared it's overwhelmingly strong with pepper. I have a strong dislike for pepper. not these, these are just right imo, and the leftovers will be used in a chicken wrap tomorrow. I'm unable to cook at the moment due to back problems and these are PERFECT for a pre-prepared food.
These are a tasty fast meal when they arrive okay. Half the time they have been crushed in delivery bag and contents are rolling around in bottom of bag. when this happens and you try to get a credit for miss handling you are asked to return to store ??? REALLY ? Walmart plus has been a Great service for the most part. as a Result i do almost all our grocery shopping with Walmart. (wish the choices were a little broader.) But the packing of items in delivery bags is baffling sometimes. bottles of soda on top of bag of chips, Heavy frozen items on top of bread. That kind of thing.
I ordered this expecting to eat a nice warm item from the deli. How ever this item was bagged and top opened and spilled all over in my Walmart bag. So this item was damaged I don’t know if it was tainted or contaminated. So I could not eat. I asked for a refund.
I've tried Walmart's popcorn chicken twice, maybe third time would be the charm, but I don't think I'll chance it. Both times the chicken was so mealy I had to question if it was chicken at all. Plus, probably 60% was the batter. Maybe that was a good thing, so there wasn't as much questionable meat to eat.
The quality of the "meat" in these is horrific. Hard, grisly chunks in almost every one. Not edible. This is hands down the worst item I've ever purchased at Walmart. I'd imagine people buy these for their kids also, which makes it worse. I would never feed these to my children. Or my dogs.
