best apple for taste
These are my favorite apples. Always crisp and just the right sweetness. I'm upset they are out of stock right now.
Love how small they are! Jazz apples have the best flavor, but this variety does have a thicker skin when compared to some others (skin is much thinner than the classic red delicious apple though). My husband eats an apple soon as he gets off work every day, and after buying some larger varieties like pink lady %26 ambrosia, he was very surprised at the size of these Jazz apples. They are however, sooo perfect for my 6 %26 1 year old!
The apples were smaller than I was expecting but tasty and crisp. When I peeled them there were quite a bit of small brown spots - not mushy or anything. Just brown. I didn't think much of it since I was cooking them down to make applesauce anyways. Turned out great with a perfect amount of sweetness.
these are (were) by far my favorite apples and my only go to, .... but lately ive been getting some really crappee ones! they just dont seem quite ripe and/or as sweet and a lot of tiny ones in the bag! i hate returning but they arent cheap and am not paying for something like that!!
these doesn't taste the Jazz apples!
Three apples in the bag were rotten
These used to be our go to favorite apples and now they suck. So disappointed because the last 5 times we've gotten them they have either been rotten leaking all over the bag, brown spots or old and mealy tasting. And on delivery orders no less. Seriously. As many others have stated, does anyone ACTUALLY pay attention to the quality of the produce they are picking for delivery customers??
They become soft too quickly. Flavor is minimal. Texture/crispness is poor. Many bruised or damaged.
Almost all apples we received were damaged. We had to throw out multiple because they were rotten. I didn't notice until a few days after and it seems too late to request a refund.
